HOUR SUPERVISION. 1. The terms of this Article notwithstanding, teachers are required to perform supervision duties, pursuant to the School Act and/or the School Act Regulations, in emergency situations or other situations where the safety or security of students is at risk. 2. All teachers covered by this Agreement shall have the right to a duty free lunch period equivalent to the school's regularly scheduled noon intermission. 3. Nothing in this Article precludes the Principal/Vice Principal from assigning, on their absence from the school, a teacher to be responsible for the noon hour supervision personnel.

HOUR SUPERVISION. No teacher shall be required to perform noon hour supervision. Other supervision duties shall not be increased as a result of implementing this clause.
HOUR SUPERVISION. The Administration will explore the use of non-certificated personnel as assistants in noon hour supervision. In the event that non-certificated personnel are not available or feasible, the pay of those teachers required to be on duty will be $15.00 per hour to be paid on the fraction of the hour worked.
HOUR SUPERVISION. 18.1 The principal of a school shall, after consultation with his staff, organize the staff and any other persons designated by the Employer in such a manner as to provide proper supervision during the noon intermission. 18.2 Any arrangements so made by agreement among the majority of the staff shall be binding upon the entire staff and shall be a condition of employment. 18.3 Any arrangements so made and in compliance with this clause, shall be subject to the approval of the superintendent. 18.4 Where possible, any teacher required to be on duty, in compliance with this clause, shall be entitled to 30 minutes time during the school day free of the school and free of school duties.
HOUR SUPERVISION. Pursuant to Title 10 of New York Codes, Rules, and Regulations (NYCRR) Section 1001.10(g) and Title 18 NYCRR Section 487.7(d), the Operator will provide appropriate staff on-site to provide supervision services in accordance with law. Supervision will include monitoring (a response to urgent or emergency needs or requests for assistance on a 24-hour a day, seven days a week basis) as well as the other components of supervision as specified in law and required by the New York State Department of Health.

HOUR SUPERVISION. The Board agrees to provide each teacher an uninterrupted daily period forty minutes i n order to eat lunch. In schools where the number of staff is small enough that with the required supervision students during the noon break, an uninterrupted period of forty minutes to eat is not possible, and where need is shown and the request is made to the Board by the principal, the Board agrees to provide a sum to be used a t the discretion of the Superintendent of Academic Affairs for providing lunch- time supervision. This sum shall be reviewed annually by the Board. It is that shall be waived where a voluntary " internal " written agreement is made between the principal and each individual teacher to arrange lunch t i m e supervision and eating t i m e to their mutual satisfaction without the help of extra lay paid assistance. Notification of this agreement shall be made by the principal to the Senior Administration by September 30th each year.
