Hours for Bus Drivers. Bus runs, showing daily and weekly hours for each route, shall be posted for five (5) working days before the annual bidding. Bidding shall take place the first Monday/Tuesday of October. Bus drivers shall select open, back-to-school, annual and summer routes based upon the most recent date of hire as a permanent employee adjusted by any period of unpaid leave except unpaid leave time for industrial accident purposes. The back-to-school bid shall take place on the return to duty day for school bus drivers. The bid shall be governed by the appropriate provisions of this article and shall reflect core routes for the current school year. Routes are subject to adjustment to reflect the assignment of overload students to school sites.

Hours for Bus Drivers. Seniority List: based on length of service within a classification as determined by date of hire as a probationary employee within the classification. Regular Hours: Drivers’ regular assignment will be minimum of twenty-five (25) hours per week. This figure shall be used for compensating holidays, vacations, sick leave, and health and welfare benefits. If a driver’s bid exceeds the minimum of 25 hours per week, that figure will be considered the driver’s Regular Hours and used for compensating the driver’s holidays, vacations, sick leave, and health and welfare benefits. A driver’s regular hours of assignment are determined upon initial employment and may be increased during the biding process. Drivers will clock in/out for their assigned time using a computerized system as determined by the District. Drivers clock in at the start of their assignment and clock out at the end of their regular assignment. Drivers will be given a five-minute grace period at the beginning of each shift.   • Criteria for Selection a. The Sabbatical Selection Committee shall use four (4) criteria for selection of academic employees to receive sabbaticals. These are: the merit of the sabbatical project, the applicant’s current and previous contributions to the College community, the proposal’s relevancy to the College’s Strategic Plan and whether or not the applicant has had a previous sabbatical. Concessionaire may request authorization to extend the hours of operation, by opening before 11:00 a.m. and/or closing after 3:00 p.m. All requests to extend hours of operation must be made in writing to the Area Superintendent at the address set forth in Paragraph 48 ten (10) calendar days in advance of the proposed effective date.   • Non-Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare Rate or three dollars and seventy-nine cents ($3.79), whichever is higher to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid- Funded hour worked. Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in‐home care program that are paid by a payor other than Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off, and training hours. Effective July 1 2022, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare rate or three dollars and ninety-eight cents ($3.98), whichever is higher, to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour worked. Contributions required by Section 21.2 shall be paid periodically as required by the Trust.
