Imminent Death Leave. Every probationary and permanent employee shall be 16 entitled to two (2) days imminent death leave per fiscal year at full pay. Upon request of the employee, such leave shall be authorized when it is believed that death of a member of the immediate family is imminent. The immediate family is defined as the mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, or a grandchild of the employee or of the spouse or domestic partner of the employee, and the spouse, domestic partner, son, son-in-law, daughter, daughter-in-law, brother, or sister of the employee, step child, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle or first cousin or other person living in the immediate household of the employee.
Imminent Death Leave. All full-time employees shall be eligible for three workdays at full compensation, in the case of serious illness or accident, with death imminent, of each and every member of the employee's immediate family. In the event that death does not occur, the necessity for this type of absence shall be verified by a written and signed statement of the attending physician, specifically stating that death was imminent. Two additional work days at full compensation shall be granted upon the written request of the employee, for purposes of travel or settlement of legal and/or family problems in connection with imminent death leave provided that the days are necessary for such purposes.
Imminent Death Leave. 12.2.5.1 Three (3) days per year on full pay shall be granted to each probationary and permanent employee in case of the serious illness or accident, with death imminent, of each member of the immediate family.
