Individual Employee Grievance. Nothing contained herein shall be construed to prevent any individual employee from presenting a grievance and having the grievance adjusted without intervention of the Association if the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement provided that the Association has been given the opportunity to be present at such adjustment as provided by law.

Individual Employee Grievance. Failing settlement within the five (5) days, the complaint shall then be taken up as a grievance within five (5) days following his immediate supervisor's decision in the following manner and sequence:
