Journeyman’s Card. Incentive Program‌ Skilled Trade members who present to their administrators a current journeyman's card in their assigned classification will be paid a stipend of 6.4% per hour. A Skilled Trade employee will qualify for this payment when the appropriate document is presented to the administrator. Skilled Trade employees that hold a master license in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing may apply to the State of Michigan, Department of Labor and Economic Growth, Bureau of Construction Codes and Fire Safety, for an affidavit issued by the State Board under the name of Utica Community Schools. Commitment of the employee to the District will be from renewal date to expiration date of the affidavit. The District will pay all costs and fees related to acquiring and maintaining the affidavit, including mandatory code classes. The employee shall receive an annual payment of $2,500.00 for the first license in a major category and $1,500.00 for each license in a sub category. Only one employee from each category of affidavit will be allowed to participate. Participation will be by leader of the related department first, then by seniority of the related department, then by shop seniority.

Related to Journeyman’s Card

  • Journeyman GROUP I: All applicants for employment who have three and one-half (3½) or more years of experience in the trade, are residents of the geographical area constituting the normal construction labor market, have passed a Journeyman's examination given by a duly constituted Outside Local Union of the I.B.E.W., and who have been employed for a period of at least one (1) year in the last three and one-half (3½) years in the geographical area covered by the collective bargaining agreement.

  • Journeymen An Employee who holds a certification of qualification for his/her respective trade in accordance to the Alberta Apprenticeship, Training and Certification Act (or its successor).

  • Network Etiquette You are expected to abide by the generally accepted rules of network etiquette. These include but are not limited to the following:

  • Paraeducators A Paraeducator who has successfully completed a probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days. The term Paraeducators shall include all Paraeducators as defined in Appendix B. Paraeducators will work a 186-day contract, 7½ hours per day and receive four (4) paid holidays unless otherwise specified.

  • Drivers Any and all drivers who drive the Vehicles you are renting/leasing from us shall be duly licensed, trained and qualified to drive vehicles of this type.   • Stewards Stewards who attend Union/Management and Professional Responsibility Committee meetings outside of scheduled work hours shall be paid at straight time rates for time spent at the meetings.
