LABOUR/MANAGEMENT COOPERATION COMMITTEE. 9.01 Labour Management Committee
LABOUR/MANAGEMENT COOPERATION COMMITTEE. A. A Labour-Management Cooperation Committee shall be established, consisting of three (3) representatives of the Town and three (3) representatives of the Union. The committee shall enjoy the support of both parties in full to this Agreement in interest and maximum service to the public.
LABOUR/MANAGEMENT COOPERATION COMMITTEE. 9.01 The Society and the Union agree to establish a Labour-Management Cooperation Committee for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. It is understood that this Committee shall not discuss matters which are properly the subject of the grievance procedures (Article XII).
9.02 The Society will implement Health and Safety procedures which address violence in the workplace. These procedures shall be approved and maintained by the Health and Safety Committee.

LABOUR/MANAGEMENT COOPERATION COMMITTEE. On the request of either the Employer or the Union, the parties shall meet for the purpose of discussing issues relating to the workplace which affect the parties or any employee bound by this Collective Agreement, and that two (2) weeks notice shall be provided, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. Employees shall not suffer any loss of pay for time spent as a result of their attendance at this Committee. This Committee shall not have jurisdiction to negotiate the provisions of the Collective Agreement nor to settle grievances and shall not supersede the activities of any other Committee of the Employer or the Union.

LABOUR/MANAGEMENT COOPERATION COMMITTEE. A Labour-Management Cooperation Committee shall be established consisting of four representatives of the Union and four (4) representatives of the Employer. The Committee shall enjoy the full support of both parties to this Agreement in the interest of maximum service to the public. The Committee shall concern itself with matters of the following nature: Considering constructive criticism of all activities so that better relations shall exist between the Employer and the employees; Increasing operating efficiency by promoting cooperation if effecting economy moves; Improving of service to the public; Promoting of safety and sanitary practice and observance of safety rules; Reviewing suggestions from employees, questions of working conditions and service, but not grievances concerned with services; Correcting of conditions making for grievances and misunderstandings; Promoting education and training of the staff. The Committee shall meet at least once month at a mutually agreeable time and place. Members shall receive and employees shall not suffer any loss of pay for time spent with the Committee. An employee and a Union Representativeshall be designated as Joint Chairman and shall alternate in presiding over the meeting. Minutes of each meeting of the Committee shall be prepared and signed as possible after the close of the meeting by the Joint Chairman. The Union and the Employer shall each receive signed copies of the minutes within three (3) working days following the meeting. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction wages, or any other matter of collective bargaining, includingthe administration of this Collective Agreement, The Committee shall not supersede the activities of any other Committee of the Union or the Employer, and does not have the power to bind either Union or its members or the Employer to any decisions or conclusions reached in their discussions. The Committee shall have the power to make recommendations to the Union and the Employer with respect to its discussions and conclusions.

9.01 Establishment of Committee A Labour/Management Cooperation Committee shall be appointed and consist of not more than four (4) representatives of the College and not more than four (4) representatives of the Union. One representative of the Union shall be the President of the Union or designate. One representative of the Employer will be a member of the College Management Team. The committee shall convene at the request of either party. The date, time and place of such meeting shall be by agreement of the parties and be held within two (2) weeks of said request.
