Cancellation Pay If a Nurse’s scheduled tour is cancelled with less than fifteen (15) hours’ notice prior to the starting time of their scheduled tour, they shall receive four (4) hours pay at their regular straight hourly rate. Vacation Cancellation Should the Employer be required to cancel scheduled vacation leave because of an emergency or exceptional business needs, affected employees may select new vacation leave from available dates. In the event the affected employee has incurred non-refundable, out-of-pocket vacation expense, the employee will normally be reimbursed by the Employer, if the Employer had previously approved the employee’s vacation leave request and if the employee has an adequate leave balance at the time of the vacation to take the vacation.
TERMINATION/CANCELLATION Cancellation of orders once placed with or accepted by Seller can be made only with Seller’s consent. Should Buyer, due to good cause, desire to affect the cancellation of an accepted order, Seller will accept such cancellation on the following basis:

SICK LEAVE WITH PAY LIMITATION 175. An employee who is absent because of disability leave and who is receiving disability indemnity payments may request that the amount of disability indemnity payment be supplemented with salary to be charged against the employee's sick leave with pay credits so as to equal the amount the employee would have earned for a regular work schedule. If the employee wishes to exercise this option, the employee must submit a signed statement to the employee's department no later than thirty (30) days following the employee's release from disability leave.
Policy Cancellation Except for ten days notice for non-payment of premium, each insurance policy shall be endorsed to state that; without thirty (30) days prior written notice to the City, the policy shall not be canceled, non-renewed or coverage and/or limits reduced or materially altered, and shall provide that notices required by this paragraph shall be sent by certified mail to the address shown below.
Shift Cancellation If any nurse is cancelled with less than twenty four (24) hours notice of the commencement of their assigned duties she shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours pay at the applicable rate of pay. Notice will be left on the employee’s work voice mail.
Pension Contributions While on Short Term Disability Contributions for OMERS Plan Members When an employee/plan member is on short-term sick leave and receiving less than 100% of regular salary, the Board will continue to deduct and remit OMERS contributions based on 100% of the employee/plan member’s regular pay.
