Leave for Local President. The President of the Local or her designate shall be entitled to six (6) hours per month of unpaid leave of absence to conduct union related business. This leave of absence shall be at a time to be mutually agreed upon in order to minimize disruption to the program. The employer will pay the wages and maintain the benefits of the President while on leave and invoice the union for reimbursement of said wages and benefits.

Leave for Local President. The Local President or designate shall be provided with paid leave of four (4) hours per week in order to conduct the internal affairs of the Local. The cost of this leave shall be equally shared by the Association and the Union. The actual schedule is to approval by the manager of the unit affected.

  • Leave, President, O.N.A Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Hospital, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year terms. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of service or seniority for a nurse during such leave of absence.
