Leave for Local President. The President of the Local or her designate shall be entitled to six (6) hours per month of unpaid leave of absence to conduct union related business. This leave of absence shall be at a time to be mutually agreed upon in order to minimize disruption to the program. The employer will pay the wages and maintain the benefits of the President while on leave and invoice the union for reimbursement of said wages and benefits.
Leave for Local President. The Local President or designate shall be provided with paid leave of four (4) hours per week in order to conduct the internal affairs of the Local. The cost of this leave shall be equally shared by the Association and the Union. The actual schedule is subject to approval by the manager of the unit affected.
Leave for Local President. The President or acting President of Local 554 shall be granted one (1) day per month paid leave of absence for local Union activities. The Union above the one (1) day per month paid by the Employer. The scheduling of these days is subject to operational requirements and approval and shall be granted upon at least twenty-eight (28) days written notice provided to the Employer.
Leave for Local President. The President or Acting President of Local shall be granted (26) days per year, if required paid leave of absence for Local Union activities, provided that the leave shall not interfere with the adequate performance of It is agreed that such leave will be scheduled in advance and will not be taken in increments of less than one half day. Local Business Leave On the understandingthat leaves under this Article will be limited to one (1) employee at any given time, it is agreed that a total of one hundred and eighty (180) days time off with pay and no loss of credits shall be given annually for the purpose of conducting the internal businessof the local Union. Reimbursementto Surrey Place Centre by the Union shall be made upon receipt of an invoice from the employer.
Leave for Local President. It is understood that leaves requested by the Union may be withheld if such leaves unduly interfere with the operating requirements of the Employer. Leave of absence with no loss of pay and with no loss of credits shall be granted to members of the Union who participate in joint meetings with the Employer (EERC, Health and Safety, JJEC, Accommodation Committee and Benefits Committee.)
