Long Term Casual Employees and Temporary Contract Employees. F.3.2.1 Bereavement Leave for Long Term Casual or Temporary Contract Employees shall be granted by the Director or designate, without loss of salary, for up to three (3) days at the time of the death of a member of the Employee’s immediate family, in order for the Employee to make arrangements for, and attend, the funeral of such family member. Immediate family shall mean parents, parents- in-law, guardians, spouse, children, brothers, sisters, grandparents and grandchildren.

  • Temporary and Casual Employees The provisions of this Article do not apply to Casual Employees, and Temporary Employees who have been hired in a position of less than six (6) months.

  • Casual Employees A casual employee is one who is not regularly scheduled to work other than during periods that such employee shall relieve a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. Casual employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to such benefits as are contained in the “Addendum - Casual Employees”.
