Leave for OSSTF Business. F.2.3.1 A Permanent Contract Employee selected for a full- time staff position with OSSTF shall be granted a full-time leave of absence by the Employer without loss of salary and benefits and without loss of seniority provided that OSSTF reimburses the Employer for the actual salary (including allowances) and benefit costs. Such leave shall not exceed a period of two (2) years.

Leave for OSSTF Business. (a) At the request of OSSTF District 23, the Board will grant the release of a(n) Occasional Teacher(s) from those Teacher=s duties to attend to Federation business. Absences may be in segments of either half days or full days but, in any event, the maximum time for such leave shall not exceed a total of twenty (20) days each school year.

  • Leave for Association Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Association to attend Association business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. During such leave of absence, a nurse's salary and applicable benefits or percentage in lieu of fringe benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the local Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the daily rate of the full-time nurse or in the amount of the full cost of such salary and percentage in lieu of fringe benefits of a part-time nurse except for Provincial Committee meetings which will be reimbursed by the Association. The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.

  • Leave of Absence for Union Business (a) The Employer shall grant leaves of absence to employees to attend Union Conventions, negotiations of the Collective Agreement with the Employer and other Union business. The Union agrees that such leave will not unduly affect the proper operations or be detrimental to the proficient operations of the Employer.

  • Leave for Family Illness In the case of illness of a member of an employee’s immediate family, meaning spouse, son, daughter, father, mother, or person to whom the employee is legal guardian when no one at home other than the employee can provide for the needs of the ill person, the employee may be granted, after notifying her immediate management supervisor, leave with pay up to five (5) working days per fiscal year, for the purpose of making such arrangements as are necessary to permit the employee’s return to work. The immediate management supervisor may require proof of the need for such leave as she considers necessary.

  • Time Off for Union Business Leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority will be granted:
