Maintenance Staff Clause Samples
The Maintenance Staff clause defines the responsibilities and requirements related to personnel assigned to perform maintenance services under the agreement. Typically, it outlines qualifications, training standards, and conduct expectations for maintenance staff, and may specify whether staff are to be provided by the service provider or the client. This clause ensures that maintenance work is carried out by competent individuals, thereby maintaining safety, quality, and compliance with contractual standards.
Maintenance Staff. The normal weekly hours of work will be the equivalent of forty (40) hours per week, with a one-half (1/2) hour paid meal break.

Maintenance Staff. Members of this bargaining unit shall work four (4) to eight (8) hours a day, starting no earlier than 5:30 am and ending no later than 12:00 am. Any member’s hours may be changed up to four (4) times per year. Regular day shift, as referred to in Article 9, means all employees whose shift begins before noon.
Maintenance Staff. Any maintenance staff hired solely for assignment to the joint justice center shall be County employees. All costs for said maintenance staff shall be paid and reimbursed in the same manner as non-dispatch expenses described below.
Maintenance Staff. (a) Full-time employees who are required to report to an area of the Employer’s premises to perform work on their regular scheduled day off OR on designated Holidays shall be paid overtime or given time in lieu at the rate of one and one half times (1.5x) their regular rate for all hours so worked with a minimum of two (2) hours pay guaranteed at overtime rates.
(b) Full-time employees who are called back to work the same day after having completed the regular work schedule shall be paid overtime or given time in lieu for hours worked at the rate of one and one half times (1.5x) the regular rate of pay with a minimum of two (2) hours pay guaranteed at overtime rates.
Maintenance Staff. 3.1 An employee engaged under this Agreement as a Maintenance Staff (Geelong Only) can perform operational duties under the following circumstances and as per clause 20.8:
(a) Where maintenance has been undertaken on a piece of current equipment or where new equipment has been installed and requires testing prior to being authorised for operational use by BGW’s; or
(b) Where there is no skilled BGW’s on shift, onsite, or available via call-in, this includes skilled casual employees, to perform a particular skilled operational task that will ensure the ongoing daily operation of the site, then the Maintenance Staff may undertake the operational task until replaced by a skilled BGW; and
(c) Whilst the above procedure provides for flexibility at GrainCorp Geelong, it is not to be used as process to de-skill or neglect the up-skilling of current and future BGW’s at the Geelong site.
Maintenance Staff. CLASSIFICATION SPECIFIC PROVISIONS
Maintenance Staff. For the months September to June the normal work week shall consist of five (5) 8-hour days from Monday to Friday inclusive, for a total of 40 hours per week. These hours shall be worked between the hours of 8:00
a. m. and 5:00 p.m. with ½ hour off for lunch, as mutually agreed to by the Employer and Employee. For the months July and August the normal workweek shall consist of five (5) 7½ hour days from Monday to Friday inclusive with no disruption in annual salary. These hours shall be worked between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with ½ hour off for lunch, as mutually agreed to by the Employer and Employee.
Maintenance Staff. For the months September to June, the normal work week shall consist of five (5), eight (8) - hour days from Monday to Friday inclusive, for a total of forty (40) hours per week. These hours shall be worked between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with one half (½) hour off for lunch, as mutually agreed to by the Employer and Employee. For the months July and August, the normal work week shall consist of five (5), seven and a half (7½) - hour days from Monday to Friday inclusive with no disruption in annual salary. These hours shall be worked between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with a half an hour (½) hour off for lunch, as mutually agreed to by the Employer and Employee.
Maintenance Staff. Contractor shall supply a sufficient number of properly qualified personnel to maintain and service all Contractor-provided equipment used for the City's service. Contractor shall ensure all mechanics are properly trained in the operation and maintenance of the vehicles and equipment specified in the scope of the program. Contractor shall provide mechanics with ongoing training in order to keep abreast of new maintenance techniques and equipment. The total number of annual training hours required for each mechanic shall be specified in the proposal.
