Matrimony Leave. Leaves of absence for the purpose of marriage shall be with loss of full pay and shall not exceed ten (10) working days. Said matrimony leave may be with pay at the option of the employee by using vacation leave, personal leave or compensatory time. An employee may obtain a leave of absence with loss of full pay for a period not to exceed twenty-five (25) working days in any one school year to spend time with the spouse who is in military service outside the Baltimore area. Time for matrimony leave within the same school year shall be included in these twenty-five (25) days. Unless the employee returns to duty on or before the expiration date, resignation may be requested by the Board.
