MEAL PLAN POLICIES a) All Carroll students who are subject to the residency requirement are also required to select a Resident Meal Plan (Plans B, D, F or X). Students that have achieved junior standing (60 credits) by the beginning of the academic year and live in Frontier, Pioneer or Prairie Halls may also select a Grand Avenue Meal Plan (Plans T or V). Only students living in the Xxxxxxx Street, College Avenue and Xxxxxxxx Avenue Apartments or the Baymont Inn & Suites are exempt from this policy. b) Students may increase their meal plan at any time. The deadline to decrease or cancel a meal plan is one business day prior to the first day of classes each semester as published in the University catalog and academic calendar. c) Students who select a meal plan for fall semester will automatically be billed for the same plan for spring semester unless they make a change prior to the deadline. d) Weekly meal plans offer a guaranteed number of meals per week and reset every Monday. All meal plans include Dining Dollars and allow meal transfers during posted hours. During each meal period, two (2) meals may be used. e) Each semester is 15 weeks in length and 18 meals will be served each week in the Main Dining Room. f) Unused meals are not transferable from fall to spring semester. Extra fall meals may be used during Winter Session; extra spring meals may be used during Summer Session 1. Unused Dining Dollars will be transferred from fall to spring semester. Dining Dollars must be used by the end of Summer Session 1. Unused meal plans and Dining Dollars are not refundable. g) Only currently enrolled Xxxxxxx students may participate in a meal plan. Students who withdraw or leave the University are no longer eligible to use their selected meal plan and will be held responsible for outstanding charges as published in the University catalog.

The College, Dining Service or the Dormitory Corporation may terminate the Board Agreement at any time for violations of the Meal Plan policies. Residence Hall students who have Meal Plan privileges terminated will also be required to vacate the Residence Halls. Students are required to have a Student ID Card for meal plan usage.

Residence Hall students who have Meal Plan privileges terminated will also be required to vacate the Residence Halls.  Handbook rules are in effect in the Dining Hall.  All students must remove theirs dishes, utensils and food to the return area upon leaving their table.  When a participant loses their ID Card, they must purchase a new one. Ask for the dining manager if office is closed.  Keep all book bags in areas provided or in your room. We encourage the use of lockers with padlocks.  Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated (food throwing, excessive noise, cursing, etc.)  ID Cards are required at all meals.  No Dining Hall property (utensils, cups, etc.) may be removed from the dining hall.  ID Cards may only be used by the participant.  No food may be removed from the Dining Hall except 1 hand held dessert & 1 piece of fruit.  Good Hygiene is EVERYONE’S Responsibility. For health, safety, and sanitation reasons, users must be fully and hygienically clothed. Shirt and shoes required. Only Service Animals are allowed in the Dining Hall.

The recording of any such adjustments shall not be deemed to imply any misstatement of previously furnished financial statements or information and shall not be construed as concurrence of Hxxxxx United or its management with any such adjustments.

  • Meal Plan 18. Residents are required to purchase a meal plan for both semesters. Refer to xxx.xxxxxxxx.xx/xxxx for details on meal plan rates. Residents may contract for a meal plan of a higher value than stipulated in the fee schedule. 19. The meal plan may only be used to purchase food and beverages at Food Service outlets designated by the University. Meal plans cannot be used to purchase alcohol or gift certificates from any of our Off Campus Partners or to pay any other fees owed to the University of Windsor. 20. Selling of unused meal plan money is not permitted. 21. The University accepts no liability for lost, misplaced or stolen student cards and reserves the right to confiscate without recourse, any student card which bears evidence of alterations. 22. Any unused balance remaining in the meal plan accounts of the Resident on the termination date of this Agreement, will be subject to the University of Windsor Meal Plan Carry-Forward Policy. 23. Residents may add money to their meal plan at the Food Services office, J01 in Vanier Hall or the UwinCard Office in the CAW Student Centre (lower level). 24. The meal plan account is HST exempt on most purchases made at Food Service outlets on campus, except on taxable items at the Bru in Alumni Hall or with our Off Campus Partners. This is a current meal plan tax policy and is subject to change in accordance with provincial or federal legislation. 25. Meal plan fees or hours of operation are subject to change as deemed necessary or when due to circumstances beyond Food Services' control. The University reserves the right to increase or otherwise change the prices of items available for purchase in its Food Service outlets. Residents will be given reasonable notice of changes to the plan and such changes will be made fairly and in due consultation with student representatives.

  • Travel Policy Section 1. Travel allowances and reimbursements, including meal, lodging and transportation expenses, shall be as provided in the Department of Administrative Services, Oregon Accounting Manual Travel Policy (OAM #40.10.00.PO). However, Section .105 of the policy shall read as follows: Personal telephone calls to immediate family members or significant others to confirm the traveler’s well being while on travel status are allowed. Employees shall be reimbursed for one (1) phone call home on the first day of travel and every other day for a five (5) to ten (10) minute call. When authorized by the Agency, employees will be provided access to State phone cards or State phone card numbers. When State phone cards are not available or the employee does not charge the call to his/her hotel room, employees shall provide receipts. Personal telephone bills reflecting the eligible calls made during travel status can serve as a receipt. The Employer shall give the Union at least thirty (30) days advance notice of any proposed changes to this policy. Such changes which involve a mandatory subject of bargaining shall be subject to negotiation if requested by the Union.

  • Policies All policies of insurance (the “Policies”) required pursuant to Section 7.1.1 above shall (i) be issued by companies approved by Lender and licensed to do business in the State, with a claims paying ability rating of “A” or better by S&P (and the equivalent by any other Rating Agency) (provided, however for multi-layered policies, (A) if four (4) or less insurance companies issue the Policies, then at least 75% of the insurance coverage represented by the Policies must be provided by insurance companies with a claims paying ability rating of “A” or better by S&P (and the equivalent by any other Rating Agency), with no carrier below “BBB” (and the equivalent by any other Rating Agency) or (B) if five (5) or more insurance companies issue the Policies, then at least sixty percent (60%) of the insurance coverage represented by the Policies must be provided by insurance companies with a claims paying ability rating of “A” or better by S&P (and the equivalent by any other Rating Agency), with no carrier below “BBB” (and the equivalent by any other Rating Agency), or a rating of A:XV or better in the current Best’s Insurance Reports; (ii) name Lender and its successors and/or assigns as their interest may appear as the mortgagee (in the case of property insurance), loss payee (in the case of business interruption/loss of rents coverage) and an additional insured (in the case of liability insurance); (iii) contain (in the case of property insurance) a Non-Contributory Standard Mortgagee Clause and a Lender’s Loss Payable Endorsement, or their equivalents, naming Lender as the person to which all payments made by such insurance company shall be paid; (iv) contain a waiver of subrogation against Lender; (v) be assigned and the originals thereof delivered to Lender; (vi) contain such provisions as Lender deems reasonably necessary or desirable to protect its interest, including (A) endorsements providing that neither Borrower, Lender nor any other party shall be a co-insurer under the Policies, (B) that Lender shall receive at least thirty (30) days’ prior written notice of any modification, reduction or cancellation of any of the Policies, (C) an agreement whereby the insurer waives any right to claim any premiums and commissions against Lender, provided that the policy need not waive the requirement that the premium be paid in order for a claim to be paid to the insured and (D) providing that Lender is permitted to make payments to effect the continuation of such policy upon notice of cancellation due to non-payment of premiums; (vii) in the event any insurance policy (except for general public and other liability and workers compensation insurance) shall contain breach of warranty provisions, such policy shall provide that with respect to the interest of Lender, such insurance policy shall not be invalidated by and shall insure Lender regardless of (A) any act, failure to act or negligence of or violation of warranties, declarations or conditions contained in such policy by any named insured, (B) the occupancy or use of the premises for purposes more hazardous than permitted by the terms thereof, or (C) any foreclosure or other action or proceeding taken by Lender pursuant to any provision of the Loan Documents; and (viii) be satisfactory in form and substance to Lender and approved by Lender as to amounts, form, risk coverage, deductibles, loss payees and insureds. Borrower shall pay the premiums for such Policies (the “Insurance Premiums”) as the same become due and payable and furnish to Lender evidence of the renewal of each of the Policies together with (unless such Insurance Premiums have been paid by Lender pursuant to Section 3.3 hereof) receipts for or other evidence of the payment of the Insurance Premiums reasonably satisfactory to Lender. If Borrower does not furnish such evidence and receipts at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of any expiring Policy, then Lender may, but shall not be obligated to, procure such insurance and pay the Insurance Premiums therefor, and Borrower shall reimburse Lender for the cost of such Insurance Premiums promptly on demand, with interest accruing at the Default Rate. Borrower shall deliver to Lender a certified copy of each Policy within thirty (30) days after its effective date. Within thirty (30) days after request by Lender, Borrower shall obtain such increases in the amounts of coverage required hereunder as may be reasonably requested by Lender, taking into consideration changes in the value of money over time, changes in liability laws, changes in prudent customs and practices, and the like.
