Meal Plan Requirements. Students living in a meal-mandatory residence hall who are under the age of 20 or have earned fewer than 20 semester hours can choose from three (3) On Campus Meal Plans: Any Meal/Any Time, 19 Meals Per Week, or 14 Meals Per Week. All Freshmen On Campus Meal Plans come with Bonus Meals and Dining Dollars automatically. Upperclassmen (at least 20 years old or 20 earned credit hours) can choose from 3 additional On Campus Meal Plans: 10 Meals Per Week Meal Plan (contains Bonus Meals and Dining Dollars), 10 Meals Per Week (does not contain Bonus Meals or Dining Dollars included), or 5 Meals Per Week. Students can change their meal plan each semester up through 5pm on the University published Drop Deadline (10th day of classes). If a student turns 20 during the semester, they will be eligible to make changes to their meal contract the following semester.

Meal Plan Requirements. Students living in Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxx Complex, Xxxxxxx Complex, The Inn, Powhatan Village, Foundation House, Ireland House, Virginia House, Scotland House, England House, France House, or Dominion House are required to be on a meal plan. Meal Plans are purchased and billed on a semester basis. Meals do not transfer from one semester to the next; however flex points carry over from the fall to spring semester with the purchase of a spring meal plan. Flex points and any remaining meals expire at the end of the spring semester. If a meal plan selection is not made by June 1st for the fall semester or by December 5 for the spring semester, the Block 160 plan will be assigned to all residents, except for those in Powhatan and the Foundation House (where a minimum Block 25 plan is required). Meal plan changes are only allowed during a limited time period at the beginning of each semester (please visit the Card Center at xxx.xxx.xxx/xx/xxxxxxxxxx for details). If a Resident moves off-campus, it is his/her responsibility to review the Cancellation portion of the Housing and Dining Agreement to determine eligibility to cancel the meal plan.
Meal Plan Requirements. All residents are required to have a meal plan with the College. Exemptions to this requirement may be requested though the Meal Plan Requirement Exemption application. Such release is available to residents whose circumstances make campus dining impractical or impossible. The request will be reviewed by a committee which will decide whether to grant or deny the request. A removal under the section titled REMOVAL FROM CAMPUS or termination under the section titled TERMINATION/REVOCATION BY THE COLLEGE pursuant to government order or the College’s determination that removal or termination is necessary for the health and safety of residents, faculty, and staff shall be the only methods whereby a resident shall be entitled to a partial refund for a meal plan. If such a removal/termination happens, the resident shall receive a partial refund of $25 per day. This refund shall encompass both housing and meal plan. Separate refunds for housing and dining will not be offered. Unused munch money shall not be refunded.
