Members of the Bargaining. Unit already on Reduced Load when this Agreement takes effect shall be covered by all the terms and conditions of this Article, but nothing in this Article shall be deemed to prejudice the terms and conditions of employment of such individuals.
Members of the Bargaining. Unit appointed by the University to a temporary position at a lower salary level than their permanent position shall continue to be paid at the salary of their permanent position and shall continue to move through the grid.
Members of the Bargaining. Unit who retire from District employment with a minimum of ten (10) years of District service, calculated on the basis of years times FTE and a minimum age of fifty-five (55), (re: 4.3.2) (Summer programs, summer school, and teaching additional periods, do not apply) shall receive the same health, dental, and vision coverage as those provided active Members of the Bargaining Unit from the date of retirement until the age of 65. For example: Six (6) years of full time service and eight (8) years at half-time service equates to ten (10) years of District service (6*1 .0 [FTE] + 8*0.5 [FTE] = 10 years of service).
Members of the Bargaining. Unit who leave the University after six (6) months of continuous full-time service shall be paid for unused vacation days at the time of their termination of employment.
Members of the Bargaining. Committee shall be granted such time off without loss of salary as is required to carry out their bargaining respecting negotiations, conciliation or arbitration.
Members of the Bargaining. Unit who accept a position outside of their Bargaining Unit may return to the Bargaining Unit without loss of seniority for a period of twelve (12) months only. It is understood that there is no seniority accumulation for the period that they were outside of the Bargaining Unit. No Employee shall be transferred outside of the Bargaining Unit without their consent.
Members of the Bargaining. Unit who are PSERS annuitants shall have the right to rejoin the District Sponsored Health Care plan as outlined in 24 P.S. § 5-513, as it may be statutorily amended from time to time.
Members of the Bargaining. Unit who participate in a cross-panel exchange shall be deemed to perform duties all or most of the time in the Elementary Panel. As a result, all terms and conditions of employment other than those specified in 8.16.05, including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, leaves, union dues, seniority, etc., as well as any grievance(s) in relation to these issues, shall be in accordance with the collective agreement applicable to the originating panel.
Members of the Bargaining. Unit Executive Committee and its delegates will be informed and invited to participate in meetings where the University is discussing issues that affect OSSTF/XXXX Members pursuant to this Collective Agreement, and will be allowed time off for such meetings, at no loss of pay, during regular working hours. Members of the Bargaining Unit Executive Committee will be represented at these University meetings as a recognized Bargaining Unit.
Members of the Bargaining. Committee who attend negotiation meetings with the Employer shall be entitled to receive their appropriate daily salary (or portion thereof) for each day (or portion thereof) spent attending such meetings. A maximum of three (3) members of the Union under this Article shall also be granted up to three (3) days' time off without pay but with no loss of credits to attend Union bargaining team caucus session held prior to such negotiations, conciliation or mediation related to bargaining. The employer shall invoice OPSEU directly for reimbursement of wages.
