Mitigation Monitoring Sample Clauses

Mitigation Monitoring. Monitoring of mitigation planting may be required as described in the regulatory and/or public agency’s permit or the environmental document. A separate mitigation monitoring contract must be programmed and funded as part of the parent project. The cost of required mitigation planting should be identified in the PID for the parent project. The PA&ED phase of work for the parent project should include the mitigation monitoring within its project scope. The mitigation monitoring project needs to be delivered and advertised so that the contract starts immediately after completion of the mitigation planting contract. For specific information regarding project programming, refer to Chapter 9Project Initiation. Highway Planting Revegetation Highway planting revegetation provides replacement planting for native vegetation that was damaged or removed due to a roadway construction project. Highway planting revegetation may include irrigation systems as appropriate. When highway planting revegetation is required due to the impacts of a roadway construction project, it must be programmed and funded as part of the parent project. The cost of the work should be identified in the PID for the parent project. This planting must be programmed to be under construction within two years after acceptance of the highway contract. A follow-up establish existing planting contract may be required to ensure the success of the highway planting revegetation project. For specific information regarding project programming, refer to Chapter 9 – Project Initiation. Wildflower Planting

Mitigation Monitoring. All monitoring activities described below were performed by qualified biologists. A summary of aquatic mitigation (ponds, wetlands and riparian habitat) is provided in Table A. A summary of rock outcrop mitigation and scrub enhancement is provided in Table C. MMP recommended an average density of 3 rock piles per acre (i.e., 108 rock piles).
Mitigation Monitoring. Compliance with the various mitigation measures that are part of the Project and determined to be feasible in the EIR that is certified in connection with the Project shall be determined as follows: Compliance with those mitigation measures that are affected by and pertain to any development application or proposal for which approval is requested shall be considered and determined in connection with the processing of such application or proposal. The foregoing requirement does not require comprehensive monitoring for all mitigation measures specified in the MMRP or the Specific Plan during City’s consideration of such application or proposal but shall only involve consideration and review of compliance of those mitigation measures that are directly related to the application or proposal under consideration.
Mitigation Monitoring. The Owner shall be responsible for and shall perform all environmental mitigation and monitoring tasks required by the Management Plan to be performed after the effective date of this Covenant, and shall promptly report to the District any issues of non-compliance with the Management Plan, including complaints of non-compliance.

Mitigation Monitoring. Consultant shall periodically visit the site (approximately monthly) to observe construction and compliance with MMRP requirements, including set-backs. Consultant shall schedule actual field visits considering when impacts to protected species and habitats are likely to be most critical (i.e. during nesting season) and based on the type and location of construction work during those most critical periods. Consultant shall submit a field report to the City identifying any potential issues associated with compliance with the MMRP requirements. Following site restoration, Consultant shall conduct a final field walk through for compliance with MMRP requirements and shall provide a final report to the City to be included in the City’s closeout documentation for the Design-Build Contract. In addition, in the event Design-Builder or City CM staff identify a potentially sensitive environmental resource, such as cultural resources or protected species, Consultant, at the request of the City, shall visit the site to help assess the issue and identify a plan of action. Forty (40) site visits are included for both the mitigation monitoring and on-call site visits. Additional oversight or monitoring work by Consultant is not included in this task, but may, depending on the nature and extent of the issue, be covered all or in part under Task 6.
