Mobile Remote Deposit. Mobile Remote Deposit allows you to make deposits of checks to your accounts from home or other remote locations by using your mobile device. Simply take a photograph of the original check and deliver the digital images and deposit information to us. You must have an active Cedar Security Bank online banking account to apply for Mobile Deposit. Cedar Security Bank’s agreements and disclosures are incorporated into and made a part of this Disclosure and Agreement. This agreement does not replace, but supplements, any and all other agreements that govern any of your accounts.

Mobile Remote Deposit. ACU reserves the right to change this Mobile Remote Deposit section or the Mobile Remote Deposit Services as it may deem necessary or appropriate. CU reserves the right, without penalty or liability, to withdraw or discontinue Mobile Remote Deposit Services from a member. Mobile Remote Deposit. What is the mobile remote deposit service and how does it work? The mobile remote deposit service provides a way for you to deposit certain checks and other instruments (collectively, “checks”) by using your mobile device to send us certain information along with an image of the checks. A mobile deposit may not be provisionally credited to your account until the next business day (every day is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays) if we receive it after 2:00 p.m. Central Time or on a day that is not a business day. Funds from these deposits will not be available immediately. These deposits are not addressed by the Funds Availability Policy that we have previously provided to you. We may nonetheless choose (but are not obligated) to treat them as subject to that policy, including the exceptions and holds referenced in that policy. Funds from these deposits will not be made available faster than any other deposit. We may convert the information and images you submit into a differently formatted item and may then collect that item in the manner we choose. Even though we may have sent you a confirmation or receipt, if your items are not finally paid or are returned to us for any reason, we may reverse the credit to your account. Returned items will be available to you in a format we select.

Mobile Remote Deposit. 4.10.1 Limits We may establish limits on the dollar amount and/or number of items or deposits 4.10.2 Eligible Items You agree to scan and deposit only domestic checks (i.e., drafts drawn on a United States-based credit union, savings and loan or bank and payable on demand.) You agree that you will not use Mobile Deposit to deposit: • Checks payable to any person or entity other than you (i.e., payable to another party and then endorsed to you). • Checks payable to you and another party who is not a joint owner on the account. • Checks that contain evidence of alteration (i.e., a date change that is initialed by the depositor), or that you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check is drawn. • Checks issued by a financial institution in a foreign country. • Checks that are incomplete. • Checks that are “stale dated” (more than six months old) or “postdated”. • Savings Bonds, traveler’s checks, money orders, or postal money orders. • Checks previously deposited whether as an original item, substitute check or image replacement document, without Central State Bank’s express written consent. 4.10.3 Requirements Each image must provide all information on the front and back of the original check at the time presented to you by the drawer, including, but not limited to, information about the drawer and the paying bank that is preprinted on the original check, MICR information, signature(s), any required identification written on the front of the original check and any endorsements applied to the back of the original check. The image quality must meet the standards established by the American National Standards Institute, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association.
