Monitoring and Progress Controls. (Clear description of measurable outputs, milestones, key performance indicators and/or reporting requirements which will enable performance monitoring) Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Humanitarian Relief Coordination Unit in MoPIC, the Policy Assistant will provide technical support enhancing capacity of MoPIC and other Government offices in particular on matters related to aid coordination, aid information management, strategic planning. The outputs will be measured against the responsibilities, tasks and activities listed in paraghraph 2 above.

Monitoring and Progress Controls. Progress will be monitored and assessed by the hiring manager along the implementation of the project, and in line with the programming and reporting activities of the operation.

The Field Assistant is normally supervised by the Protection Associate/Field Associate and performs a variety of functions related to field activities within the office. The supervisor exercises close control and regular review of the work processes and provides regular advice and guidance. The incumbent keeps frequent internal contacts with staff members in the same duty station to exchange information and with the external contacts generally with officials of national and international institutions, leaders of the refugee community, local population and/or Implementing Partners (IPs) on routine subject matters under the direction of the supervisor.
