Purpose and Scope of Assignment. The objective of the evaluation is to assess the achievement of project objectives, the affecting factors, the broader project impact and the contribution to the general goal/strategy, and the project partnership strategy. The Project Management Support - Advisor will be working remotely, supported by the National Consultant to be hired on a short-term IC Contract via UNDP CO and based in Kenya, who will facilitate the Project Management Support – Advisor and provide necessary substantive and operational support in carrying out this evaluation. Project success will be measured based on the Project Logical Framework (see Annex 1), which provides clear performance and impact indicators for project implementation along with their corresponding means of verification. The evaluation will assess the aspects as listed in evaluation report outline attaching in Annex 2. The Project Management Support – Advisor reviews all relevant sources of information including documents prepared during the preparation phase (i.e. PIF, UNDP Initiation Plan, UNDP Social and Environmental Screening Procedure/SESP) the Project Document, project reports including annual PIRs, project budget revisions, lesson learned reports, national strategic and legal documents, and any other materials that the Project Management Support - Advisor considers useful for this evidence-based evaluation. The Project Management Support - Advisor will review the baseline and midterm GEF focal area Core Indicators/Tracking Tools submitted to the GEF at the CEO endorsement and midterm stages and the terminal Core Indicators/Tracking Tools that must be completed before the TE field mission begins. The Project Management Support - Advisor is expected to follow a participatory and consultative approach ensuring close engagement with the Project Team, government counterparts (the GEF Operational Focal Point), Implementing Partners, the UNDP Country Office(s), the Regional Technical Advisor, direct beneficiaries and other stakeholders. The specific design and methodology for the TE should emerge from consultations between the Project Management Support - Advisor and the above-mentioned parties regarding what is appropriate and feasible for meeting the TE purpose and objectives and answering the evaluation questions, given limitations of budget, time and data. Reporting to the Assistant PSP Officer for Communications and in close coordination with the UNHCR Brazil Public Information Unit, the Senior Communications Assistant will be responsible for supporting the implementation of UNHCR communications strategy in Brazil, providing support to increase UNHCR brand awareness in Brazil, website reach, number of supporters, public engagement and donations. In detail, the Senior Communications Assistant will: • Support UNHCR Brazil's entry on TikTok, conducting daily research on trends and developing creative concepts and content for activations with influencers • Coordinate a live event on Twitch/YouTube with influencers to raise funds for UNHCR Brazil • Adapt existing products (Ecoe Suas Vozes and others) to implement constant lead generation campaigns • Revamp and reactivate past lead generation campaigns (Prato do Mundo and Infância Desaparecida) • Support the development and implementation of Communications training for Brazil's all staff and spokespersons, organizing key messages, FAQ, drafting presentations, and planning sessions • Support the development of the 2023 Local Lead Campaign and Product (mapping stakeholders, managing roles and responsibilities, and outlining the implementation schedule) • Support the development of a toolkit targeted at corporations and HNWI during emergencies
Purpose and Scope of Assignment. The MTR will assess progress towards the achievement of the project objectives and outcomes as specified in the Project Document, and assess early signs of project success or failure with the goal of identifying the necessary changes to be made in order to set the project on-track to achieve its intended results. The MTR will also review the project’s strategy and its risks to sustainability. The successful candidates will be assigned to conduct MTRs in the following SGP Country Programmes: Bolivia, Egypt, Peru, and Sri Lanka. The MTR must provide evidence based information that is credible, reliable and useful. The MTR consultant will review all relevant sources of information including documents prepared during the preparation phase (i.e. PIF, UNDP Initiation Plan, UNDP Environmental & Social Safeguard Policy, the Project Document, project reports including Annual Project Review/PIRs, project budget revisions, lesson learned reports, national strategic and legal documents, and any other materials that the team considers useful for this evidence-based review). The MTR consultant will review the baseline GEF focal area Tracking Tool submitted to the GEF at CEO endorsement, and the midterm GEF focal area Tracking Tool that must be completed before the MTR field mission begins. The MTR consultant is expected to follow a collaborative and participatory approach ensuring close engagement with the Project Team, government counterparts (the GEF Operational Focal Point), the UNDP Country Office(s), UNDP-GEF Regional Technical Advisers, and other key stakeholders. Engagement of stakeholders is vital to a successful MTR. Stakeholder involvement should include interviews with stakeholders who have project responsibilities, including but not limited to executing agencies, senior officials and task team/component leaders, key experts and consultants in the subject area, Project Board, project stakeholders, academia, local government and CSOs, etc. Additionally, the MTR consultant is expected to conduct field missions to SGP project sites.

Under the direct supervision of the Registration and Identity Management Officer, the Contractor shall be responsible for: - Assist in the implementation of UNHCR registration strategies and methodologies for populations of concern. - Assist in implementing of Registration and Data Entry Standard Opeating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with relevant standards and policies. - Assist in the monitoring and daily running of registration activities by DPIN and enrollment and identity and individual case management activities by UNHCR and HIAS, where required. - Assist and conduct continuous registration and enrollment interviews when required in accordance with registration standards and guidance. - Provide counselling to, and responds to queries from, asylum seekers, refugees and persopns of concerns regarding registration and enrollment procedures and their rights and entitlements. - Maintain accurate and up-to date records and data related to all registration and enrollment cases. - Identify persons with specific needs and ensure timely referral to protection follow-up as required. - Collaborate with protection staff and/or partners in the delivery of assistance and programming. - Assist in training of UNHCR, Government and Partners staff in aspects of registration and data collection. - Draft correspondence and reports relating to registration and enrollment activities in the operation, when required. - Provide statistics and draft reports related to registration and enrollment data, as requested. - Maintain data security in line with UNHCR's Data Protection Policies and Guidelines. - Ability to travel to remote locations when required. - Perform other related duties as required by supervisor and Head of Field Office.
Purpose and Scope of Assignment. Although the position is based in the UNHCR Regional Representation in Budapest (RRCE), regular travel to Slovenia is required. • Monitor closely the situation of UNHCR's persons of concern (PoC) in Slovenia and keep RRCE abreast of any developments which may impact them; • Carry out regular protection monitoring of border entry points, as well as reception and detention facilities; • Lead and coordinate participatory assessments with PoC; • Monitor and keep RRCE informed of developments in relation to legislation and regulations to ensure UNHCR has up-to-date information (including by monitoring the government legislative portal); and assist with legal analysis of draft legislation that could impact PoC; • Support RRCE to maintain effective and close contacts with UNHCR counterparts in Slovenia (Ministries, Human Rights Ombudsperson's Office, the Judiciary, universities, academia and NGO partners, etc.); • Assist in the promotion of international refugee law and capacity building/training of government officials and other stakeholders; • Ensure timely provision of inputs and drafting of reports, including the compilation of asylum-related data and statistics; • Assist and support RRCE with Public Information activities (including communication and media relations); and • Any other task as required.

Purpose and Scope of Assignment. The Protection Assistant normally reports to a more senior Protection colleague. The incumbent provides functional and administrative support to the protection unit on protection related liaison, correspondence, monitoring, case management and reporting activities. The Protection Assistant also supports the protection unit in designing a comprehensive protection strategy and in providing quality, timely and effective protection responses to persons of concern (PoC). S/he may liaise externally with local authorities and partners on correspondence and/or protection issues as guided by the supervisor. The Protection Assistant also facilitates the involvement of PoC in making decisions that affect them, whether in accessing their rights or in identifying appropriate solutions to their problems. To achieve this, the incumbent will need to build and maintain effective interfaces with communities of concern, local authorities and protection and assistance partners.
