Multistorey Allowance. A multistorey allowance will be paid per hour to all Employees on site engaged in construction or renovation of a building which, when complete, consists of 5 or more storey levels, to compensate for the disabilities experienced in, and which are peculiar to, construction or renovation of a multistorey building. For the purposes of the multistorey allowance:
Multistorey Allowance i. The Multistory Allowance is paid at a flat hourly rate for all time when work is being performed.
ii. In accordance with clause 23.3 (Multistorey Allowance) of the Award, a Multistorey Allowance will be paid to Employees on a Project in respect of works performed by the Company on that Project:
A. Up to the Company’s contractual practical completion for the last separable portion of that Project, and
B. To any additional work that is continuous and carried out by the Employees of the Company on that Project post practical completion, that falls under the Company’s original contract (for example defects work).
iii. Rates Floor Level Multistorey Allowance (per hour worked)
A. The above rates are fixed.
Multistorey Allowance. 1.1 A multistorey allowance shall be paid to all Employees on-site engaged in the construction of a multistorey building as defined herein, to compensate for the disabilities experienced in, and which are peculiar to the construction of a multistorey building. For the purpose of the Agreement, a multistorey building is a building which will, when complete, consist of five or more storey levels. A storey level means structurally completed floor, walls, pillars or columns and ceiling (not being false ceilings) of a building, and shall include basement levels and mezzanine or similar levels (but excluding “half floors” such as toilet blocks or store rooms located between floors).
Multistorey Allowance. 5.4.1 A Multistorey Allowance as defined in clause 17.4 (a) of the Award, will be paid to all Apprentices working on such sites as per Schedule A of this Agreement.
Multistorey Allowance. Except as provided for in (d) below, the allowances set out in Appendix 1 must be paid to all employees on the building site per hour. The allowance will be paid based on the following Storey levels. 0 – 15 floors More than 60 floors The second and subsequent allowance scales will, where applicable, commence to apply to all employees when one of the following components of the building – structural steel, reinforcing steel, boxing or walls – rises above the floor level first designated in each such allowance scale. Floor level means that stage of construction which in the completed building would constitute the walking surface of the particular floor level referred to in the table of payments. The allowance payable at the highest point of the building will continue until completion of the building.
Multistorey Allowance i. Rates
(1) Except as provided for in (ii), an allowance in accordance with the following table shall be paid to all employees on the building site. The second and subsequent allowance scales shall, where applicable commence to apply to all employees when one of the following components of the building - structural steel, reinforcing steel, boxing or walls, rises above the floor level first designed in each such allowance scale.
(2) Floor level means that stage of construction which in the completed building would constitute the walking surface of the particular floor level referred to in the table of payments. From the commencement of building to 15th floor level 86 cents per hour extra From the 16th floor level to 30th floor level $1.02 per hour extra From the 31st floor level to 45th floor level $1.59 per hour extra From the 46th floor level to the 60th floor level $2.06 per hour extra From 61st floor level onward $2.52 per hour extra The allowances payable at the highest point of the building shall continue until completion of the building.
