Municipal time. 1. The cost for each year of service will be calculated taking the earning from the municipality you worked for, in the year you are buying back, multiply those earnings by the current employee contribution rate and add on compounded interest at the current net yield of the fund. The years bought will be the most recent prior municipal employment. 2. Municipal time is defined as service with a U.S. City, Township, County, Village, Road Commission, Drain Commission or Court System. It will also include public employment where the employee was a certified police officer. 3. The employee may purchase the time by lump sum payment for that time, with a minimum of not less than 1 year in each purchase (with the last purchase being less than 1 year), or they may utilize payroll deduction with an amount to be deducted each pay period for the time to be purchased. a. On a request to purchase prior municipal time, either the prior earnings or current base annual salary, if not military service, will be multiplied by the current contribution rate and compound interest on retirement system net yield added. If the payroll deduction method is selected, additional interest at the City’s current interest yield for each year will be added for the period the employee chooses to spread the purchase. Purchased years will not be added to the employee’s credited service until payment for the buy-back time is received in full by the City. 4. There cannot be duplicate pension service credit for any year in both Oak Park and the municipality whose prior municipal time is purchased. 5. There is a maximum buy-back of 5 years of prior municipal service. The buy-back must begin within 3 years of eligibility and the payment be spread over a period no longer than the amount of time purchased.

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one hour increments.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • Eastern Time Upon receipt of Instructions, and upon your determination that there are good funds with respect to Instructions involving the purchase of shares, you will calculate the net purchase or redemption order for each Portfolio.

  • Daylight Savings Time Employees required to work more than eight (8) hours on an eight (8) hour shift or more than ten (10) hours on a ten (10) hour shift due to the change from daylight savings time to standard time shall be paid for the additional hour worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2). Employees required to work less than eight (8) hours on an eight (8) hour shift or less than ten (10) hours on a ten (10) hour shift due to the change from standard time to daylight savings time shall be paid for the actual hours worked. Employees may use vacation time or compensatory time to make up for the one (1) hour lost. Employees in the first six (6) months of employment who would be eligible to accrue vacation, may be advanced one (1) hour of vacation time which shall either be deducted from their vacation leave balance, or deducted from their last paycheck if the employee is separated prior to accruing vacation.

  • Call Time Employees recalled to work after leaving the premises of the Company, after completion of their regular shift, will be paid double rate for all hours worked, with a guaranteed minimum payment of two (2) hours at double rate, i.e., four (4) hours at straight time rate.

  • Substandard Timber Live and dead trees (a) Do not meet Utilization Standards and (b) Are located in Clearcutting Units or construction clearings or are otherwise designated for cutting. (a) Within 200 feet slope distance from centerline of roads constructed hereunder that are damaged by Pur- chaser’s construction to the extent that considerable dete- rioration or mortality is imminent and are designated by Forest Service for felling before the nearest road segment is Substantially Completed or (b) That are damaged by Purchaser in logging and are subsequently Marked before Purchaser has com- pleted skidding or yarding operations in the immediate area. By agreement, such trees may be left without charge if their removal would cause undue damage or be grossly uneconomic.
