Common use of NAMED HOLIDAYS Clause in Contracts

NAMED HOLIDAYS. (a) Casual Employees shall be paid at one and a half times (1 ½ X) their basic rate of pay for all hours worked on a Named Holiday. (b) Casual Employees shall be paid, in addition to their basic rate of pay, five per cent (5.0 %) of their basic rate of pay in lieu of the Named Holidays.

NAMED HOLIDAYS. (a) A Casual Employees Employee required to work on a named holiday as per Article 22.01, shall be paid at one and a one half times (1 ½ X1/2X) their her basic rate of pay for all hours worked on a Named Holidayor at the appropriate overtime rate if applicable.
