Nature of Reimbursement. A. Reimbursement may be made for all required fees, registration, and other costs related directly to the approved educational or professional expense. This may include, but is not limited to, books, class materials, lab fees, testing fees, parking, and processing fees. B. Expenses for travel, meals, and lodging are not reimbursable, however, the Department Head or designee may authorize payment for these items when it meets their business needs and is budgeted in their travel expense budget. C. For degree programs, reimbursement shall be made to the employee upon completion of the course with a minimum final grade of C or its equivalent in an undergraduate course, or B or its equivalent in a graduate level course. D. Reimbursement for non-graded courses shall be made upon completion of an approved course and proof of payment. E. Public Service Institute (PSI) courses are not eligible for reimbursement. F. If an employee is receiving reimbursement for another source that covers a portion of the costs, the County will only pay the remaining amount, after other reimbursements are exhausted. G. Effective October 11, 2019, the maximum reimbursement that may be received by eligible employees in one fiscal year shall be $10,000.

Nature of Reimbursement. Reimbursement may be made in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of actual out-of- pocket expenditures for tuition, registration fees, laboratory fees and required textbooks. Other related expenses and incidental costs, such as parking are not reimbursable. No employee shall be reimbursed for more than two (2) courses in a single semester or quarter. The maximum reimbursement that may be received by an employee in one fiscal year shall be as specified in the Memorandum of Understanding. Expenses less than twenty-five dollars ($25) for a single course are not reimbursable. No employee shall be reimbursed for non-resident fees above the normal resident fees.

  • Nature of Reimbursement Obligations The Borrower and, to the extent set forth in Section 2.6.1, each Lender with a Revolving Loan Commitment, shall assume all risks of the acts, omissions or misuse of any Letter of Credit by the beneficiary thereof. The Issuer (except to the extent of its own gross negligence or willful misconduct) shall not be responsible for (i) the form, validity, sufficiency, accuracy, genuineness or legal effect of any Letter of Credit or any document submitted by any party in connection with the application for and issuance of a Letter of Credit, even if it should in fact prove to be in any or all respects invalid, insufficient, inaccurate, fraudulent or forged, (ii) the form, validity, sufficiency, accuracy, genuineness or legal effect of any instrument transferring or assigning or purporting to transfer or assign a Letter of Credit or the rights or benefits thereunder or the proceeds thereof in whole or in part, which may prove to be invalid or ineffective for any reason, (iii) failure of the beneficiary to comply fully with conditions required in order to demand payment under a Letter of Credit, (iv) errors, omissions, interruptions or delays in transmission or delivery of any messages, by mail, cable, telegraph, telex or otherwise, or (v) any loss or delay in the transmission or otherwise of any document or draft required in order to make a Disbursement under a Letter of Credit. None of the foregoing shall affect, impair or prevent the vesting of any of the rights or powers granted to the Issuer or any Lender with a Revolving Loan Commitment hereunder. In furtherance and extension and not in limitation or derogation of any of the foregoing, any action taken or omitted to be taken by the Issuer in good faith (and not constituting gross negligence or willful misconduct) shall be binding upon the Borrower, each Obligor and each such Lender, and shall not put the Issuer under any resulting liability to the Borrower, any Obligor or any such Lender, as the case may be.

  • Cost Reimbursement This payment method is based on an approved budget and submission of a request for reimbursement of expenses Xxxxxxx has incurred at the time of the request;

  • REIMBURSEMENT OF FEES AND COSTS The Parties acknowledge that Xxxxxxx and her counsel offered to reach preliminary agreement on the material terms of this dispute before reaching terms on the amount of fees and costs to be reimbursed to them. (c) Subject to procuring any required regulatory approvals, from time to time the Fund may, alone or in conjunction with other registered or unregistered investment funds or other accounts for which CSFB Alternative Capital, or any Affiliate of CSFB Alternative Capital, acts as general partner or investment adviser, purchase insurance in such amounts, from such insurers and on such terms as the Board shall determine.

  • Timing of Reimbursements and In-kind Benefits If Executive is entitled to be paid or reimbursed for any taxable expenses under this Agreement, and such payments or reimbursements are includible in Executive’s federal gross taxable income, the amount of such expenses reimbursable in any one calendar year shall not affect the amount reimbursable in any other calendar year, and the reimbursement of an eligible expense must be made no later than December 31 of the year after the year in which the expense was incurred.
