Night Travel Allowance Sample Clauses
The Night Travel Allowance clause establishes compensation or reimbursement for employees or contractors who are required to travel during nighttime hours as part of their work duties. Typically, this clause specifies the time frame considered as 'night,' the eligibility criteria for receiving the allowance, and the method of calculation—such as a fixed amount per night or a percentage of regular travel expenses. Its core practical function is to fairly compensate individuals for the inconvenience or additional risks associated with traveling at night, thereby encouraging compliance and ensuring equitable treatment.
