Non-Discrimination - Union Activity. (A) Neither the state nor the Union shall interfere with the right of employees to become or refrain from becoming members of the Union, and the Union shall not discriminate against any employee because of membership or non-membership in any employee organization.
Non-Discrimination - Union Activity. As a duly elected body exercising governmental power under the laws of the State of Illinois and subject to the Constitutions of Illinois and the United States, the Board undertakes and agrees not to discriminate against any certified staff member by reason of his/her membership in the Association, his/her participation in any activities of the Association, or his/her institution of any grievance, complaint, or proceeding under this Agreement. The Association agrees not to discriminate against any Certified Staff member by reason of his/her non-membership in the Association or his/her participation in activities of other educationally-oriented organizations.
Non-Discrimination - Union Activity. The City agrees that it will not discriminate in any manner against any person in its employ by reason of his/her membership and activity in the Union and the City further agrees that it will not in any way interfere with the organization of the Union and that it will not willfully commit any act calculated to undermine the Union.
