Non regular night work. Provided further that if an employee, pursuant to notice, reports for such night work and because of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Melbourne Water no work can be done, he/she shall be paid for three hours work at time and one half rates Saturday, Sunday and public holidays and shall report for duty at the next ordinary daily starting time. Shift loadings shall apply to annual leave and paid sick leave, as if the employee was continuing with the normal roster.

Non regular night work. An employee, not engaged on regular shift work pursuant to this clause, who is required to change from day work to night work to enable work to be performed, shall be paid at the rate of time and one quarter provided that 72 hours notice of XXXX’s intention to change the hours of work is given. Provided further that if an employee, pursuant to notice, reports for such night work and because of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of SEWL no work can be done, he/she shall be paid for four hours work at time and one half rates Monday to Friday and for three hours work at time and one half rates Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays and shall report for duty at the next ordinary daily starting time.

Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.
