Objectives/Purpose. The ultimate goal of the HRH Project is to improve health outcomes for all Ethiopians, with emphasis on the reduction of infectious diseases and maternal and newborn morbidity and mortality. The HRH project’s efforts will build upon previous work and processes, and implement activities organized within the following key results:

Contracts for specific services would then be enacted at the LTA-specified unit costs and other conditions, for example, travel cost lump sum if travel is required.
Objectives/Purpose. Expected results The main purpose of this assignment is to supply and install 101 rain water catchment tanks at 41 health care facilities and 60 schools in Guadalcanal province. At the end of the assignment, the selected 41 health care facilities and 60 schools will have access to back up storage of water for hand washing and drinking purposes. Description of the assignment Specifically, the assignment will be divided into 3 Lots: Lot 1: 40 schools • Visit and carryout technical assessment at the selected 40 sites to determine the measurements and bills of quantities of materials required to install rain water catchment facilities • Supply and install 5000 litres tanks and fittings and guttering for the selected 40 sites Lot 2: 20 schools • Visit and carryout technical assessment at the selected 20 sites to determine the measurements and bills of quantities of materials required to install rain water catchment facilities • Supply and install 5000 litres tanks and fittings and guttering for the selected 20 sites Lot 3: 41 Healthcare Facilities • Visit and carryout technical assessment at the selected 41 sites to determine the measurements and bills of quantities of materials required to install rain water catchment facilities • Supply and install 5000 litres tanks and fittings and guttering for the selected 41 sites Quality Assurance • Designated MHMS RWASH engineers will provide the monitoring and assurance activities for the installation works at agreed time frames. • Independent quality assurance/supervision of the project materials and stages of construction/installation including certification of work stages will be done by the designated MHMS officials and UNICEF.
