Objectives and Commitments. 7.1 The Objectives of the Parties to this Agreement are:
(a) to promote fair, cooperative and productive workplace relations in the building and construction industry;
(b) to provide a detailed set of agreed employment benefits, conditions, rights and obligations;
(c) to explore the potential for innovation and new technologies;
(d) to consider any benefits of alternative hours of work;
(e) to support the establishment of consultative bodies to consider the impact of climate change on the working conditions in the industry;
(f) to establish practices that support opportunities for a diversified workforce;
(g) to support the implementation of highest possible levels of OHS practices, procedures and training;
(h) to ensure that fair and equitable employment practices are applied in the workplace;
(i) to improve efficiency in the workplace;
(j) to provide for the establishment and observance of an effective disputes settlement procedure that involves Employees and their representatives, when requested, at the earliest stage of any dispute or potential dispute.
7.2 The Parties to this Agreement commit themselves to ensuring that:
(a) The efficiency measures contained in this Agreement are implemented and lead to real gains in productivity.
(b) The principles of industry modernisation are realised during the life of this Agreement (in accordance with Part 11).
(c) Productivity gains will not be achieved at the expense of health and safety standards.
(d) The disputes settlement procedures provided herein are strictly adhered to.
(e) Employment should wherever possible be full time and on going.

Objectives and Commitments. 5.1. The Parties commit to the objectives of this Agreement, which are to:
(a) establish practices that will enable the creation of a cooperative and productive workplace;
(b) support the implementation of high levels of OH&S practices, procedures and training;
(c) ensure that fair and equitable employment practices are applied in the workplace;
(d) improve efficiency and promote productivity in the workplace; and
(e) provide for the establishment and strict observance of disputes settlement procedures that enables the efficient resolution of issues without recourse to industrial action.
Objectives and Commitments. 6.1 It is agreed that UGL must achieve real and sustained performance improvements to meet its goals and objectives. Such performance improvement is the shared goal of all.
6.2 As fundamental objectives of this Agreement are to create a framework in which to achieve the following goals: Safe and healthy work sites, Productive work sites, A culture of continuous learning and improvement, Meeting and exceeding related objectives on time and within budget forecasts, Environmental awareness and compliance General housekeeping and Direct engagement of core workforce as operational requirements allow.
6.3 It is agreed that: UGL and its Employees work together constructively in the pursuit of an operation where flexibility and learning are supported and encouraged and employees contribute to their fullest. Employees perform work as requested, provided it is within their range of skills, competence, classification and authorisation. The parties comply with their occupational health and safety obligations and productivity gains will not be achieved at the expense of health and safety standards or standards of employment.
Objectives and Commitments. The Parties to this Agreement recognise that the Company must achieve real and sustained performance improvements if the Project is to meet its goals and objectives. Such performance improvement is the shared goal of the Parties. The fundamental objectives of this Agreement are to create a framework in which to achieve the following goals: • Safe and healthy work sites; • Productive work sites; • A culture of continuous learning and improvement; • Meeting and exceeding related completion objectives on time and within budget forecasts; and • Environmental and cultural heritage awareness and compliance The Parties agree to ensure that: • The Company and its Employees work together constructively in the pursuit of an operation where people are flexible, willing to learn and contribute to their fullest; • Employees perform work as requested, provided it is within their range of skills, competence, classification and authorisation; • The efficiency measures contained in this Agreement are implemented and lead to real gains in productivity; • The Agreement is consistent with the provisions of the FW Act; • The Parties comply with their occupational health and safety obligations and productivity gains will not be achieved at the expense of health and safety standards; and • The dispute settlement procedures in this Agreement are strictly adhered to. • Employment should wherever possible be full time and ongoing. • “The National Employment Standards (NES) apply to all employees as a minimum standard. Where there is an inconsistency between the NES and a clause of this agreement, the NES will apply and the clause of the agreement will not apply, except to the extent that the clause of the agreement provides for a more beneficial outcome for employees than the NES.” • The Employer will ensure all Employees are lawfully entitled to work in Australia performing work under the Agreement.
Objectives and Commitments. (1) The parties are committed to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering and building services which support the operations of all MHSB hospitals. The parties acknowledge that such improvement will be to the mutual benefit of the community of Western Australia, the Metropolitan Health Service and employees thereby enhancing the career opportunities and job security of employees.
(2) The parties are committed to continue to constructively engage in the progression of matters detailed in Appendix B – Workplace Reform of the Metropolitan Health Service Engineering and Building Services Enterprise Award (the Award).
(3) The parties are committed to identifying, during the life of this agreement, measures of workforce productivity for the purposes of establishing baseline productivity levels thereby facilitating the quantification of future productivity improvement.
Objectives and Commitments. The Group is committed to combatting sexism and harassment in all its forms, be it physical, sexual and/or psychological, everyday violence in the workplace, and improper behaviour of any kind. Any behaviour affecting the dignity of women or men in the workplace, or which creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment, undermining the respect due to every individual, goes against Orange’s fundamental values. Orange complies with the convention concerning the elimination of violence and harassment in the world of work, adopted by the General Conference of the International Labour Organisation on 21 June 2019, which is currently pending ratification by the member states.
Objectives and Commitments. Xxxxxx agrees to help implement a network of contacts in all subsidiaries in addition to the Diversity/Gender Equality representatives coordinated by the Group’s Diversity & Inclusion Department.
Objectives and Commitments. Xxxxxx is committed to combatting all forms of discrimination. This is one of the main themes of its Diversity policy, together with workplace gender equality and equal opportunities. The Group underlines the principle, indicated in the global agreement on fundamental rights signed in 2006, that it does “not discriminate in the workplace, particularly when recruiting men and women based on their skills, and it treats each person with dignity, without discriminating”. As indicated in the Code of Ethics, the Group "does not tolerate any form of discrimination, particularly at the time of employment or during the course of an employee’s working life". Orange underlines the need for equal treatment of job applications during recruitment based on the skills and experience required for the position. In addition, Orange ensures that access to training, career opportunities and working arrangements depend to objective criteria. Employee characteristics have no influence on a career at Orange. Only skills, potential and motivation are relevant. Regarding the inclusion of disabled workers, Xxxxxx has signed the International Labour Organisation’s Business and Disability Charter. Consequently, it is committed to implementing policies and practices which protect disabled workers against all forms of discrimination.

(g) to facilitate a work culture and work practices consistent with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry.
7.2 The parties to this Agreement commit themselves to ensuring that:
(a) the efficiency measures contained in this Agreement are implemented and lead to real gains in productivity;
(b) the Agreement is consistent with the provisions of the relevant legislation;
(c) productivity gains will not be achieved at the expense of health and safety standards; and
(d) the disputes resolution procedures provided herein are strictly adhered to.
