Objectives of Agreement. To enable the Company to perform work in the activities covered by this Agreement in a productive and efficient manner. • To enable employees to work in a productive, efficient, flexible and safe manner in accordance with their full skill and competence to meet the requirements of the Company and their clients. • To provide appropriate remuneration and conditions of employment for employees working under the terms of the Agreement.
Objectives of Agreement. The fundamental objective of this Agreement is to create a framework consistent with the intent of the Parties to each of the following goals:
4.1 To establish an agreed set of conditions of employment;
4.2 To safely complete quality works ahead of the program timeframe and on or under budget;
4.3 To respect and care for the environment in work performed;
4.4 To avoid industrial action during the nominal term of this agreement by following at all times the agreed disputes resolution procedures, so as to develop a dispute-free work site culture; and
4.5 To ensure all parties covered by this Agreement are afforded procedural fairness and respect at the workplace.
Objectives of Agreement. A sub clause has been added to state the Employer undertakes that for the term of the Agreement there will be no reduction in current or future employment rights and entitlements, including provision of allowances and leave arrangements.
Objectives of Agreement. The parties agree that continuous improvement strategies will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the NTPS and it is the intention of the parties to build upon and enhance the human resource reforms contained in the PSEM Act through:
(a) improved human resource practices; and
(b) staff development; and
(c) management and professional development programs; and
(d) other programs of continuous improvement. The parties acknowledge the need to examine jointly and consider all options when pursuing improvement strategies to ensure the achievement of the most cost effective and productive outcomes and that the consultative mechanisms referred to in clause 14 – Management of Change, will be employed by the parties for this process. While recognising that reorganisation and changes to staff numbers arising from various factors are occurring within the NTPS, the parties agree that there will be no involuntary redundancies and no job losses arising directly from the implementation of this Agreement.
Objectives of Agreement. 6.1 The parties acknowledge:
(a) that a cooperative approach is necessary to effectively implement this Agreement;
(b) that continuous improvement strategies, such as improved human resource practices, flexibility in working arrangements and work methods, skills enhancement, individual development, professional development programs, network and asset growth, and new business opportunities, are necessary to ensure the efficiency and productivity of PWC, whilst at the same time improving and maintaining ongoing employment opportunities, and specifically employment security;
(c) the need to jointly examine and consider all options when pursuing improvement strategies to ensure the achievement of the most cost effective and productive outcomes; and
(d) the Commissioner commits there will be no reduction in current or future employee rights and entitlements as provided in By-laws and Determinations, including the provision of allowances and leave arrangements, for the term of the agreement.
6.2 The parties will continue to strive towards productivity improvements during the life of this Agreement, including:
(a) zero harm to all employees;
(b) improved quality of service;
(c) more responsive solutions to client demands;
(d) more cost effective management and work practices;
(e) better use of employees’ skills;
(f) improved accountability, governance and administrative arrangements;
(g) improved access to and use of new technologies; and
(h) commitment to and achievement of organisational strategic objectives.
Objectives of Agreement. The fundamental objective of this Agreement is to create a framework in which to achieve the following goals during development work on the Project.
(a) A safe and healthy work site where every employee can expect to work SAFELY and not be injured.
(b) Effective employee relations, which deliver positive benefits to all participants in the Project.
(c) To construct this Project as designed and in accordance with the specified standards of workmanship to meet or improve on the budgeted, cost and time schedule.
(d) Value to the Owner.
(e) Maximised productivity through motivation and effective teamwork.
(f) Environmental awareness.
Objectives of Agreement. The objective of this Agreement is to create a framework to: . • provide a safe and healthy work site where everybody is encouraged to take responsibility for their safety and that of their colleagues; .
Objectives of Agreement. 2.1 The objectives of the Agreement are:
(a) increasing competitiveness of Shell Logistics and thereby increasing job security through improved utilisation of capital;
(b) equitable levels of remuneration for employees based on each employee’s actual working hours; and
(c) to be an employer of choice within the industry.
Objectives of Agreement. The fundamental objective of this Agreement is to create a framework consistent with the intent of the parties to each of the following goals for the works of the company on the Mesa A Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia: • To provide a safe and healthy work site where all parties are encouraged to take responsibility for their safety and that of their colleagues so that we each return home without injury; • To respect and care for the environment in which we work; and • Avoidance of industrial action by following at all times the agreed disputes resolution procedures so as to develop a dispute free work site culture.
Objectives of Agreement. Through the provisions of this Agreement, the University is seeking to strengthen its competitiveness and to achieve improvements in productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, quality, flexibility and equality. To enhance that competitiveness and to achieve these improvements, the key objectives of this Agreement are to:
(i) achieve improved terms and conditions of employment for all employees of the University;
(ii) achieve positive and productive partnerships between the University and all its employees and stakeholders in the pursuit of its mission and strategic objectives and priorities;
(iii) strengthen the University’s ability to attract and retain high quality employees;
(iv) enhance flexibility and streamline administrative processes; and
(v) maximise income generation and/or manage costs within the University to ensure its viability and to enhance its development and growth.
