OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. An applicant for appointment shall be entitled to rely on the Superintendent, the Secretary-Treasurer, a Director of Instruction, or a Principal or Vice Principal, through notification, that an offer has been made or that an appointment has been made.
2. The Board shall confirm an offer of appointment to the District, in writing or by email within 48 hours.
OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. All prospective teachers will be advised that offers of appointment shall be made verbally by the Superintendent or his/her designate. Such offers shall be binding.
2. Following a verbal offer of appointment to the district, the Board shall confirm such an offer in writing or by FAX or email within two (2) business days.
3. Upon receipt of an offer, the teacher shall have up to two (2) business days in which to respond.
OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. An applicant for appointment shall be entitled to rely on a representation of the Superintendent, an Assistant Superintendent, Director of Instruction, Secretary- Treasurer or Administrative Officer that an offer of any appointment has been made, or that an appointment has been made, or with respect to the terms of such offer or appointment.
2. The Employer shall confirm an offer of appointment to the district in writing as soon as practicable.
3. An offer of appointment to the District shall be deemed to be accepted when the acceptance of the offer has been received in writing by the Employer within forty-eight (48) hours of the offer of employment, or as soon as practicable.
OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. Offers of appointment may be made by the Superintendent, Secretary-Treasurer, or an Administrative Officer.
2. Offers may be made verbally and are binding if verbal acceptance is received within forty-eight (48) hours.
3. Confirmation of appointment will be made with Contracts of Employment.
OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. A verbal offer of appointment to the District and the terms of such offer of appointment shall be made by the Superintendent or their designate directly to the person.
2. The Board shall confirm an offer of appointment to the District, in writing, within 48 hours.
3. An offer of appointment to the District shall be deemed to have been accepted when the written acceptance has been hand delivered or sent to the Board within 48 hours of the written offer.
4. An offer of appointment to the District shall be deemed to have been rejected when a teacher has declined the offer or failed to respond as per E.
OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. An applicant for appointment shall be entitled to rely on a representation of the Superintendent, Director of Instruction, Human Resources and Principal that an offer of an appointment has been made, or that an appointment has been made, or with respect to the terms of such offer or appointment.
2. The Board shall confirm a verbal offer of appointment to the District, in writing or by electronic mail, within forty-eight (48) hours. The Association shall be included in the confirmation notice.
3. An offer of appointment to the District shall be deemed to have been accepted when the acceptance has been mailed or sent by electronic mail to the Board within forty-eight (48) hours of the initial offer of appointment by the Board.
OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. An applicant shall be entitled to rely on an offer of employment only from a bona fide representative of the Board (i.e. Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Director of Instruction, Secretary Treasurer, Director of Human Resources, or Principal).
2. The Board shall confirm an offer of appointment to the District, in writing or by electronic mail within 48 hours of Board ratification.
3. An offer of appointment to the District shall be deemed to have been accepted when the acceptance has been mailed or sent by electronic mail to the Board.
4. With reference to Article C.2.2.b.ii (Seniority Verification Process), an employee shall be deemed to receive a continuing appointment on the start date of that continuing appointment.
OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 22.1 An applicant for appointment shall be entitled to rely on a representation of the Superintendent of Schools, or designate that an offer of appointment has been made, or that an appointment has been made, which shall include the specifics of the position and initial assignment.
22.2 The Board shall confirm an offer of appointment to the district, in writing by letter, or e-mail within forty-eight (48) hours.
22.3 An offer of appointment to the district shall be deemed to have been accepted when verbal confirmation is provided to the Superintendent of Schools, or designate, followed by written confirmation to the Board.

1. Successful applicants will be offered appointments to the District by the Board. Offers may be either in writing or verbal.
2. Applicants will have forty-eight (48) hours from the time of the verbal offer to provide the Board with a decision.
3. Within forty-eight (48) hours of the verbal acceptance a written confirmation will be dispatched by the Board to the applicant.
4. Verbal offers or verbal confirmation of acceptance will be deemed to be binding on both parties. Misunderstandings regarding the terms and conditions of verbal offers shall be raised within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt of the written offer. Should the misunderstanding not be resolved to the successful applicant’s satisfaction, the verbal acceptance will not be considered binding.
