OFFER OF RE-EMPLOYMENT. When a vacancy occurs in a class for which layoff reemployment list has been established, the senior employee will be notified in writing at the last known address given the District by the employee and given an opportunity to accept the vacancy. The laid-off employee may decline the offer of employment and retain his/her position on the list. If he/she twice declines an appointment, his/her name will be removed from the list and he/she forfeits all rights to which he/she would otherwise be entitled.

OFFER OF RE-EMPLOYMENT. 7.2.4.1 When a vacancy occurs in a class for which a layoff re-employment list has been established, the senior member will be notified in writing at the last known address given the District by the employee and given an opportunity to accept the vacancy. The laid-off employee may decline the offer of employment and retain their position on the list. If they twice decline an appointment, their name will be removed from the list and they forfeit all return rights to which they would otherwise be entitled. 7.2.4.2 A member required to be laid off may be assigned to a position vacancy in another class for which they are qualified based on seniority compared to other members, if applicable. Salary schedule placement will be made on the basis of prior service. In the event of future layoffs within the new class of assignment, length of service for layoff purposes will be counted only from the time of assignment to the position (“First In, Last Out”). Assignment to a position vacancy in another class in lieu of layoff under this Article does not affect the employee's layoff rights under other subsections.
OFFER OF RE-EMPLOYMENT. As of the Effective Date, the Joint Venture was to offer new employment to all of the employees of Seven-Up and Delta set forth on SCHEDULE G and SCHEDULE H, respectively, on terms and conditions comparable to those under which such employees were employed by Delta and Seven-Up, and all severance costs for the contemplated staff reduction resulting from the creation of the Joint Venture were to be expenses of the Joint Venture.
OFFER OF RE-EMPLOYMENT. The Club shall offer re-employment contracts to eligible employees or notify ineligible employees that they do not qualify not less than three (3) months before their retirement at 62 years old.

  • Summer Employment 5.10.1 Summer employment is defined as temporary employment of employees during their non-contract days between the end of one school year and the beginning of the next school year in classifications covered by this agreement. 5.10.2 All terms and conditions of this agreement shall be in force throughout any period of "summer employment" except for any deviations specifically addressed in thissection. 5.10.3 Employees who wish to be employed in summer employment must apply for a position(s) advertised on the district's employment website as temporary summer positions become available. 5.10.4 Employees shall be eligible for summer employment according to the employee's classification, district wide seniority, training, experience, and skills and the needs of the district.

  • Probationary Employment All employees will initially be engaged on a three month probationary period on a Grade as nominated by the employer with monthly reviews during which time the employee's suitability for continued employment will be assessed. During this period the employer undertakes to provide monthly feedback to the employee in terms of the employee's progress. At the end of this three month period or before at the discretion of the employer should performance not be satisfactory the employee's services will be terminated by giving one (1) days notice. Should the employee choose to resign one (1) weeks notice must be provided to the employer. This period can be extended with the mutual agreement of both the employer and employee prior to completion of the probationary period. Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period, the employee's position will be confirmed in writing

  • Not an Employment Agreement This Agreement is not an employment agreement, and no provision of this Agreement shall be construed or interpreted to create an employment relationship between you and the Company or any Affiliate or guarantee the right to remain employed by the Company or any Affiliate for any specified term.

  • Secondary Employment A. For any employee entitled to disability leave, the employer shall pay the covered employee compensation in accordance with section 10.2 governing disability leave. B. The employer shall pay compensation for the period that the covered employee is entitled to disability leave for a maximum period of eighteen (18) months, except as set forth in 10.2(b) and 10.3(b).
