Operation and Maintenance Data. (a) The Contractor shall furnish complete and necessary data for the operation, repair, and maintenance of each operating component of the Work (hereinafter referred to as “the Data”). The Data shall include prints of shop drawings, “as-installed” conditions, sources of equipment and principal materials, specified tests and performance data, repair and maintenance data, lubrication instructions and recommendations, parts lists, and other catalog data or information required to operate and maintain any part of the Work. Care shall be taken to include all pertinent data and to exclude inapplicable or duplicative information. (b) Prior to Final Payment, a set of Data shall be furnished to the Owner in an electronic PDF format. In addition, three (3) complete sets of the Data in a form directed by the Owner shall be provided to the Owner, indexed alphabetically by components, grouped together and securely bound in a durable folder or binder that is labeled and indexed to show its contents. (c) Installation information for all machinery and equipment also shall be kept on the site of the Work during construction, but used or marked prints or data sheets are not to be used in assembling the final maintenance and operating manuals described in paragraph (b) of this Section 6.02. (d) Operations and maintenance demonstrations by the manufacturer of all machinery and equipment shall be complete in all respects and shall specify the appropriate and inappropriate uses of the machinery and equipment.

Operation and Maintenance Data. (a) EPC Contractor shall furnish , in electronic format, shop drawings, “as-installed” conditions, CAD files, sources of equipment and principal materials, vendor recommended maintenance schedules, vendor repair and maintenance data, vendor lubrication instructions and recommendations, parts lists, and other catalog data or information within EPC Contractor’s custody and control, required to operate and maintain any part of the Work (herein the “Data”). Care shall be taken to include all pertinent data and to exclude inapplicable or duplicate information. (b) Installation information for all machinery and equipment also shall be kept on the site of the Work during construction. All such information shall be provided in electronic form (original Word or Office document or scan).
Operation and Maintenance Data. The Contractor shall compile data and related information appropriate for the Owner’s record, maintenance and operation of products, equipment, materials and systems furnished under the Contract. This shall include as-built drawings. A. Provide two (2) complete copies of the Record and Information Booklet and one (1) copy of Record and Information in a CD format, and delivered to the Owner. Booklet shall be a commercial quality three-ring binder with durable and cleanable plastic cover. B. The Contractor must include the Final Approved Equipment Submittal in the Booklet. The Contractor must provide a Warranty Letter indicating the warranty expiration date and a balancing report (if project is Mechanical/HVAC related) must be included in the Booklet. X. Xxxxxx typewritten table of contents for each volume, arranged in a systematic order by specification divisions. Indicate contractor, name of project, contract number and address of project on the face of the binder. On the end of the binder the school name shall be printed with a permanent readable label. D. As-built drawings shall be red lined to show location and routing of any items not installed as shown on the original drawings.
