Part-time Shifts. The applicable shift differential will be paid for shifts of less than eight (8) hours only if at least half of the hours worked are between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Part-time Shifts. The Union and the Employer agree that there may be some part-time shifts. Such part-time shifts shall be assigned for periods of not less than four (4) hours and shall be compensated for at the rates listed.
Part-time Shifts. The Employer will identify the maximum possible number of part-time shifts and times of those shifts, consistent with requisite qualifications, however, no such shift will include a split longer than the meal period. The first priority will be to maximize work patterns of shifts on the basis of five (5) days on, two (2) days off. Shifts will then be identified which provide two (2) days off within a seven (7) day period, when days off may not be consecutive. Shifts will be no less than four (4) hours in length, except for students when shifts may be of two (2) hours' duration. All identified shifts shall have no less than eight (8) hours between the end of one (1) scheduled shift and the start of the next scheduled shift.

  • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Part-Time Faculty A faculty member whose appointment is for a specified period of time and does not meet the full load requirements for an Academic Year as defined herein.   • Part-time Scheduling Subject to Section B of this Article, the Employer and the Association endorse the principle that less than full time equivalent ("FTE") positions shall, within reason, be expected to work a biweekly work period that equates to an eighty (80) hour work period multiplied by the position's FTE. (e.g., 80 hours @ .75 = 60 hours). It is further understood by both parties that ASF Members assigned to less than a FTE position may be required, during the peak work periods, to exceed their normal biweekly work period. FLSA non-exempt ASF Members who work a part-time schedule will earn overtime for hours worked in excess of forty (40) in a work week. The Employer agrees to review any ASF position that is less than one (1) FTE if the Association can demonstrate that the position has regularly been required to work a work period that substantially exceeds the normal work period as defined above, and adjust the FTE of the respective position as deemed appropriate by the Employer.

  • Part-Time An employee who is employed less than thirty (30) hours per week.

  • Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.

  • Part-Time Regular Employees District shall maintain, in participation with (tenured) part-time regular faculty, all insurance fringe benefits coverage on the basis applicable to full-time participation in regard to premium payments.
