Common use of PART-TIME, TEMPORARY AND CASUAL EMPLOYEES Clause in Contracts

PART-TIME, TEMPORARY AND CASUAL EMPLOYEES. (a) Part-time, Temporary and Casual Employees shall be paid, in addition to their Basic Rate of Pay, five percent (5.0%) of their Basic Rate of Pay in lieu of Named Holidays. (b) Part-time, Temporary and Casual Employees required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid at one point five times (1.5X) their Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on the Named Holiday.

(a) On each pay period, Part-time, Temporary and Casual Employees shall be paid, in addition to their Basic Rate of Payearnings, five four point two percent (5.04.2%) of their Basic Rate of Pay earnings in lieu of Named HolidaysHoliday benefits. (b) Part-time, Temporary and Casual Employees who are required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid at one point five and one-half times (1.5X1 1/2X) their Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on the Named Holiday.

(b) Part-time, Temporary and Casual Employees who are required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid at one point five and one-half times (1.5X1 1/2X) their the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on the Named Holiday.

(c) Effective upon ratification of the agreement by the parties, Part-Time, Temporary and Casual Employees obliged to work on Christmas Day shall be paid for all hours worked on the named holiday at two times (2X) the basic rate of pay.

(c) Clause 18.06(a) shall not apply to Student Dining Room Servers.

(b) Part-time, Temporary and Casual Employees who are required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid at one point five and one-half times (1.5X1 1/2X) their Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on the Named Holiday.

PART-TIME, TEMPORARY AND CASUAL EMPLOYEES. (a) A Part-time, Temporary and or Casual Employees employee required to work on a General Holiday shall be paidpaid at one and one-half times ( 1 ½ X) their basic rate of pay for the first seven point five (7.5) hours worked, in addition to their Basic Rate any additional hours worked shall be paid at two times (2X) basic rate of Pay, five percent (5.0%) of their Basic Rate of Pay in lieu of Named Holidayspay. (b) Part-time, Temporary Temporary, and Casual Employees required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid at one point five times (1.5X) their Basic Rate a premium equal to 4.4% of Pay for all hours worked on the Named Employee’s basic rate of pay in lieu of the General Holiday.
