Payment for Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave. 39.5.1 If, in accordance with this Clause, an Employee takes a period of paid personal/carer’s leave, the Employer shall pay the Employee at the Employee’s Ordinary Rate of Pay for what would have normally been the Employee’s ordinary hours of work in that period.

  • Personal/Carer’s Leave a) Personal/carer’s leave is defined in accordance with Section 244 of the Act and includes paid sick leave (accrued under the AFPCS) and paid or unpaid carer’s leave (accrued under the AFPCS). Casual employees shall have no entitlement to paid personal/carer’s leave.
