Period of Service Required Notice. Up to 1 completed year 1 week 1 to up to 3 completed years 2 weeks 3 to up to 5 completed years 3 weeks Over 5 completed years 4 weeks Employees aged 45 or more, with at least 2 years service at the time of the giving of notice will be entitled to an additional weeks notice by the Company. The Company, at its discretion, may elect to pay wages in lieu of the Employee working such required notice, or part thereof. Where an Employee fails to provide the required notice, the Company may withhold monies from the Employee’s final payment. A week’s pay means 38 hours at the Employee’s ordinary rate of pay without any allowances. When employment is terminated, the Company will pay the Employee any wages owed and any other entitlements, by electronic funds transfer into the Employee’s bank account on the next payroll run following the Employees last day of work. Where possible and practicable, termination payments will be transferred on the day of termination of employment. All Offices inclusive of amenities and enclosed areas are non-smoking areas. • Use of alcohol and/or drugs in breach of Company or Customer Drug and Alcohol Policies. • Reporting to work while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. • Drunken/drugged behaviour. • Possession of, or use of, illegal drugs/substances. • Illicit trade of alcoholic beverages and/or drugs. • Offensive, intimidating or violent behaviour in any form regardless of how or why it was initiated. • Vandalism. • Unauthorised possession of Company or another Employee’s property. • Practical jokes or acts of horseplay. • Trespass without permit on any restricted access areas. • Discrimination or harassment of any form, including that relating to race, colour, religion, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, handicap or military status. • Possession and/or use of weapons of any kind.

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract.
