Common use of Personal Business Clause in Contracts

Personal Business. If an employee desires to be off on personal business (not emergencies), he may do so with the consent of the Company so long as he does not desire to be off over two (2) work weeks and provided that he gives the Company forty-eight (48) hours' notice of his desire to be absent and the length of time he desires to be off. Upon completion of such leave, he will resume employment on the basis of uninterrupted service.
