PERSONAL/XXXXX’S LEAVE. 22.1 For each year of service with the Company, an employee shall be entitled to 12 shifts of paid personal/carer’s leave without loss of pay. 22.2 An employee's entitlement to paid personal/carer's leave shall accrue progressively during a year of service according to the employee's ordinary hours of work and shall accumulate from year to year. 22.3 An employee may take paid personal leave if the leave is taken because the employee is not fit for work because of personal illness or injury. 22.4 An employee may take paid xxxxx’s leave if the leave is taken to provide care or support to a member of the employee's immediate family, or a member of the employee's household, who requires care or support because of a personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency. 22.5 For the purposes of clause 22.4 above ‘immediate family’ means a spouse, de facto partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of the employee, or a child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of a spouse or de facto partner of the employee. 22.6 In accordance with the NES, employees may access periods of unpaid leave of at least two (2) days, or a greater period by agreement with the Company, that meets the requirements of clause 22.4 above. However, an employee cannot take unpaid carer's leave if the employee could instead take paid personal/carer's leave. 22.7 An employee on personal/xxxxx’s leave who is absent for only part of a shift, shall have a proportionate amount deducted from their personal/carer’s leave accrual in accordance with the following formula: Period of Absence Deduction from Leave i. Up to ¼ of a shift Nil ii. Between ¼ and ¾ of a shift ½ shift iii. ¾ or more of a shift Total duration of absence (up to 1 shift) 22.8 If the period during which an employee on the early/late roster takes paid personal/xxxxx's leave includes a day or part-day that is a public holiday the employee shall be taken not to be on paid personal/carer's leave on that public holiday.

PERSONAL/XXXXX’S LEAVE. 22.1 For each year of service with the Company, an employee shall be 29.1 This clause applies only to full-time and part-time Employees.
29.2 Employees are entitled to 12 shifts of paid personal/carer’s leave without loss in accordance with the relevant provisions of paythe Act to be paid at the ordinary time earnings rate of pay that the Employee would receive for working ordinary hours in the period of leave.
22.2 An employee's entitlement to 29.3 Employees will accrue 10 day’s paid personal/carer's xxxxx’s leave shall accrue progressively during a year of service according to the employee's per annum based on ordinary hours of work work. 29.4 Personal/xxxxx’s leave will be cumulative from year to year.

29.7 TEISD require an Employee to provide reasonable proof, such as a spousedoctor’s certificate, de facto partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of the employee, or a child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of a spouse or de facto partner of the employee.
22.6 In accordance with the NES, employees may access periods of unpaid leave of at least two (2) days, or a greater period by agreement with the Company, that meets the requirements of clause 22.4 above. 22.8 If A doctor’s certificate will be required for each occasion the period during which an employee on the early/late roster Employee takes paid personal/xxxxx's leave includes a day or part-day that is a public holiday the employee shall be taken not to be on paid personal/carer's ’s leave on that public holidayonce 5 days personal/carer’s leave has been accessed in the school year.
29.8 Failure to provide reasonable proof may result in Employees not being paid for days absent.
29.9 Employees are required to personally notify the delegate nominated by the Principal by 7.00am when absent from work due for personal / carer’s leave. Employees should state the nature of the illness or injury (and person affected) and expected date of return to work.

PERSONAL/XXXXX’S LEAVE. 22.1 For each year of service with the Company, an employee 6.2.1 The Employees shall be entitled to 12 shifts of paid take personal/carers leave in accordance with this clause and the Workplace Relations Act 1996.
6.2.2 Each permanent Employee is entitled to personal/carer’s leave without loss of pay10 days’ paid leave per year accrued proportionately for each completed 4 week period of continuous service. This leave will be cumulative and up to 10 days a year may be used as carer’s leave.
22.2 6.2.3 An employee's entitlement additional two days of unpaid carer’s leave will be available for emergencies for Employees who have used up their personal leave entitlement, and for casual Employees.
6.2.4 In order to paid personaltake Personal/carer's leave shall accrue progressively during Xxxxx’s Leave as provided in clause 6.2.2 above the Employee must provide documentary evidence including a year of service according medical certificate from a medical practitioner as soon as reasonably practicable to the employee's ordinary hours of work and shall accumulate from year to year.effect that:
22.3 An employee may take paid personal leave if (a) the leave is taken because the employee is not fit Employee will be unfit for work because during the relevant period of personal illness or injury.
22.4 An employee may take paid xxxxx’s sick leave if the leave is taken to provide care or support to a member of the employee's immediate family, or a member of the employee's household, who requires care or support because of a personal illness or injury; or
(b) a member of the Employee’s immediate family or of the Employee’s household who requires care or support has had or will have a personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergencyduring the relevant period.
22.5 6.2.5 For the purposes of clause 22.4 above ‘immediate family’ means 6.2.4 where it is not reasonably practicable to provide a spouse, de facto partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of medical certificate the employee, or Employee may provide a child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of a spouse or de facto partner of statutory declaration made by the employeeEmployee.
22.6 In accordance with 6.2.6 An Employee shall as far as practicable prior to the NES, employees may access periods first day of unpaid leave of at least two (2) days, or a greater period by agreement with the Company, that meets the requirements of clause 22.4 above. However, an employee cannot take unpaid carer's leave if the employee could instead take paid personal/carer's leave.
22.7 An employee on personal/xxxxx’s leave who is absent for only part of a shift, shall have a proportionate amount deducted from their any personal/carer’s leave accrual taken, and in accordance with any event within 24 hours of the following formula: Period commencement of Absence Deduction from Leave
i. Up such absence, inform the Company of his intention to ¼ of a shift Nil
ii. Between ¼ and ¾ of a shift ½ shift iii. ¾ or more of a shift Total duration of absence (up to 1 shift)
22.8 If the period during which an employee on the early/late roster takes paid take personal/xxxxx’s leave.
6.2.7 If an Employee is terminated by the Company and is re-engaged by the same Company within a period of three months, then the Employee's unclaimed balance of sick leave includes shall continue from the date of re- engagement.
6.2.8 All unused personal leave is cumulative and may accumulate to a day or part-day that is a public holiday maximum of 100 days.
6.2.9 All sick leave accrued by an employee prior to the employee shall commencement of this agreement will be taken not converted to be on paid personal/carer's personal leave on that public holidaythe day this agreement becomes operative.

PERSONAL/XXXXX’S LEAVE. 22.1 11.1 Paid personal/carer’s leave is available to an Employee when they are absent:
(i) Due to personal illness or injury; or
(ii) For each the purposes of caring for an immediate family or household member who is sick and requires the Employee’s care and support (carer’s leave) or who requires care due to an unexpected emergency.
11.2 The amount of personal leave to which an Employee is entitled depends on how long they have worked for the City as indicated below: Length of time worked for the City Personal/Xxxxx’s leave (days) On commencement 10 On commencement of 2nd and 3rd year of 10 continuous service with On commencement of 4th and subsequent years 15
11.3 The accrual for existing Employee’s entitlement under this clause will commence on their next anniversary date after registration of this Agreement. All Employees engaged on/after the Company, registration of this Agreement will accrue their entitlements on commencement.
11.4 Personal/xxxxx’s leave credited in subclause 11.13.2 will be adjusted where an employee Employee has been on leave without pay for 12 consecutive months or more. An Employee on leave without pay shall be credited with personal/carer’s leave in accordance with subclause 11.13.2 Should the Employee be on leave without pay for 12 months or more the City is entitled to deduct 10 days from the Employee’s entitlement for each 12 shifts of month period the Employee is on leave without pay.
11.5 Paid personal/carer’s leave is cumulative.
11.6 An Employee entitled to paid personal/carer’s leave without loss will be paid their rate of paypay for working ordinary hours.
