PERSONS TO BE SERVED. The target population for the Non-Emergency Transportation Services program is adults, residing in COUNTY, eighteen (18) years of age or older, who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as adults with substance use disorders, and require non-emergency transportation assistance to essential behavioral health and/or medical appointments, or behavioral health supportive services that support goals identified in their treatment plans.

For clients to be eligible for RWP in LAC, they must be a current resident of LAC, have an HIV/AIDS diagnosis, have an income at or below 500% of the federal poverty level, and be either uninsured or underinsured, whose public (i.e. Medi-Cal, Medicare) or private (i.e. Blue Cross, Kaiser) insurance does not cover CMHB Services.
