PERSONS TO BE SERVED. In order to receive services through the DMC-ODS, the Client 25 must be enrolled in Medi-Cal, reside in Orange County, and meet medical necessity criteria, as outlined 26 below.
PERSONS TO BE SERVED. The target population for the Non-Emergency Transportation Services program is adults, residing in COUNTY, eighteen (18) years of age or older, who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as adults with substance use disorders, and require non-emergency transportation assistance to essential behavioral health and/or medical appointments, or behavioral health supportive services that support goals identified in their treatment plans.
PERSONS TO BE SERVED. 1 1. CONTRACTOR shall serve Clients, who are referred by COUNTY and authorized for 2 services under the Agreement.
3 2. CONTRACTOR may deny admission of a Client based upon lack of availability of beds.
PERSONS TO BE SERVED. Contractor’s personnel shall provide services to inpatients and/or outpatients of County and may include the provision of home care services for County patients. Services shall be limited to services requested by the patient’s attending physician.
PERSONS TO BE SERVED. Sobering Center services shall be provided to adults 18 years of 12 age and older, who present with intoxication and can safely be served at the facility. These persons 13 might otherwise be detained by law enforcement or utilize hospital emergency departments for issues 14 related to intoxication. Persons must arrive at the center by vehicle. Arriving on foot is not permitted.

PERSONS TO BE SERVED. 7 1. CONTRACTOR shall provide services to adults, ages eighteen (18) and older, pursuant to 9 ADMINISTRATOR.
10 2. CONTRACTOR shall admit Clients referred by ADMINISTRATOR who meet 11 ADMINISTRATOR’s criteria for therapeutic residential center services and who also meet the 12 admission criteria approved by DHCS and the “Admission of Patient’s” guidelines under Title 22, 13 Sections 72515 (a)-(b).
14 3. CONTRACTOR shall not refuse admission of Clients if they meet all of the admission 15 criteria identified above.
16 4. CONTRACTOR shall accept for re-admission those Clients transferred from their facility 17 for acute medical or psychiatric stabilization unless an alternative placement plan is indicated and 18 agreed upon by ADMINISTRATOR.
19 5. CONTRACTOR shall provide services in a non-discriminatory manner and ensure that 20 equal access is provided to all beneficiaries representative of the COUNTY’s population.
21 6. CONTRACTOR shall make no distinction as to voluntary or involuntary status of Clients 22 for the provision of these services. Characteristics of this target population shall include, but may not be 23 limited to:
24 a. History of problem behaviors that currently exclude Clients from acceptance and/or 25 manageability at a less restrictive level of care such as board and care facilities, including individuals 26 with dual diagnosis of substance abuse and mental illness which may complicate Client compliance with 27 psychiatric treatment.
28 b. Resistance to medication treatment, non-compliance with medications, and resistance 29 to treatment programming.
30 c. Poor self-care and social skills to a degree which currently precludes their functioning 31 in more independent settings. Most Clients will be considered gravely disabled, and on involuntary 32 status as a Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Short (LPS) conservatee.
33 d. Special cultural and language needs that prevent adequate treatment in traditional 34 treatment settings.
PERSONS TO BE SERVED. All residents of Orange County are eligible to receive services despite the ability to pay. In order to receive services through the DMC-ODS, the Client must be enrolled in Medi-Cal, reside in Orange County, and meet medical necessity criteria.
PERSONS TO BE SERVED. 10 1. CONTRACTOR shall serve seriously mentally ill adults, ages eighteen (18) and older, as 11 defined by WIC Section 5903, who are COUNTY residents that are referred by COUNTY and authorized 12 for services under the Contract. Clients to be served by CONTRACTOR shall be adults living with a 13 serious mental illness, who may also be experiencing co-occurring medical and/or substance use
PERSONS TO BE SERVED. For each potential client, Contractor will determine RWP eligibility as listed in Section 6.0, below, and provide CMHB Services to permanently or temporarily functionally impaired clients who are eligible for RWP. For clients to be eligible for RWP in LAC, they must be a current resident of LAC, have an HIV/AIDS diagnosis, have an income at or below 500% of the federal poverty level, and be either uninsured or underinsured, whose public (i.e. Medi-Cal, Medicare) or private (i.e. Blue Cross, Kaiser) insurance does not cover CMHB Services.
