Pet Policies. LICENSING – The Residents agree to provide the pet with a clearly visible identification tag and collar and agree to comply with local health and safety code regulations and ordinances including leash and licensing requirements. PET SANITATION – The Resident(s) agree that all animal waste or litter from litter boxes or cages is to be picked up and disposed of in a sealed plastic bag and placed in the dwelling’s trash container. The Resident(s) agree to provide adequate care for the animal including current inoculations as required or necessary. The Resident(s) agree to keep litter boxes away from decks, patios, or intake vents. PET PROBLEMS – The Resident(s) agree to keep the pet from being unnecessarily noisy or aggressive and causing any annoyance, discomfort or nuisance to other Resident(s). Please note, any complaints made through the Management will be remedied immediately. The Resident(s) agree that pets that fight with or otherwise harm other pets or which continually disturb the peace and quiet of the neighbor Residents through noise (barking, meowing, whining, et cetera), smell, animal waste, biting, scratching or other nuisance must be removed from the dwelling unit and its yard(s). The Resident(s) also agree that upon written notice from Management, the Resident(s) will remove the pet from the dwelling unit and its yard(s) within 30 days. PET HOUSES – The Resident(s) agree that dog- and cat-houses or carriers are not permitted on patios, decks, or balconies. CAT SCRATCH POSTS – The Resident(s) agrees that upon occupancy by a clawed cat(s) there will be a scratch post in the dwelling unit for the duration of the cat(s)’s occupancy and that a clawed cat(s) shall not be left in an enclosed room without the room having a scratch post in it.
Pet Policies. Unless you have reserved a pet-friendly property, pets are NOT allowed inside the property or on the balcony/patio/yard. In a pet-friendly property, the pet fee charge is $150/per pet (max. 1 dog per unit) plus applicable fees, processing, and/or taxes. If the dog’s behavior results in complaints by other guests or neighbors, Guest may be asked to board the dog off property with a veterinarian/shelter/kennel without compensation. Guests are required to clean up after their dog inside and outside the property. Dogs are never allowed in the pool or any shared areas or Resort amenities. Cats or any other pets are not allowed in the property. Should a pet be found in any home without authorization, a $600 violation fee will be charged to the Guests’ credit card. Should you be locked out of your rental residence during office hours, we will make every effort to provide you with a spare key at no charge. However, an after-hours lock-out will result in a $100.00 charge. There is no guarantee that your property will be equipped with our preferred keyless entry system. If any personal items have been left by the Guest, it is the responsibility of the Guest to pay in advance a $50 service fee and all estimated costs from the packaging and shipping with tracking number of those items should the Guest request the items be returned to them. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damages to items that may occur during the transportation or shipping process of any items being returned. A Cleaning Fee will be applied to each reservation. Towels, sheets, and all linens are inventoried before and after each Guest’s stay. Guest will be charged for any damaged or missing items or for stains on carpet, furniture, or walls. If the property is left in a condition that would require an excessive cleaning, such as empty boxes, un-bagged trash, or leftover food on top of counters, an additional fee may apply. Many 407VHR destinations have a sub-tropical climate and care must be taken with food that is left uncovered. Uncovered food can attract insects very quickly as well as rodents or wildlife. Any added costs for pest control services incurred for lack of care may be charged to Guest. The Property has been inspected to ensure no bed bugs are present, so the presence of any bed bugs is presumed to have been caused by Guest, unless Guest provides clear and convincing proof otherwise. Pet Policies a. Pets are only permitted in properties specified as pet friendly. Having a pet in a non-pet friendly property, or a pet without paying the required pet fees, violates the terms and conditions. b. Guests will be charged if hair is left on furniture and/or if the furniture is damaged by/with pet odors. c. Pets must be crated and/or secured when left unattended in the rental. d. Pets must be brushed outside to control the amount of shedding in the property. e. Pets are not to be left unattended at any time when they are outside of the home. f. Pets cannot be chained or tethered to porches, decks, or any part of the property itself. g. Pets are not allowed on the furniture at any time.

  • Guest Policy All guests must abide by the rules and policies outlined in the Residence Handbook and University protocols in place. In shared units, guests (especially overnight guests) must be discussed and approved by all roommates and suitemates in advanced. All guests must be signed into the building, and resident host will be held responsible for their behaviour and actions during their stay. NOISE: Residents are required to adhere to quiet-hours policy within their building. Excessive noise, which disturbs the comfort of other residents, is prohibited. STORAGE: The University does not provide storage facilities for student’s personal belongings or furnishings. It is the resident’s responsibility to arrange for one if they require so. ROOM DECORATIONS: Students are not permitted to paint, or make alterations in their room, suite and/or common areas. Room decorations must also comply with the University’s building code and standards. FURNITURE: Students are not permitted to bring large pieces of furniture, including beds/waterbeds, desks and dressers, into residence. Furniture cannot be removed from residence rooms, common areas or buildings. Furniture from other areas of the University cannot be relocated to a student’s room. ANIMALS/PETS: Pets are not permitted in any of the residence buildings. Students with registered service animals should contact Housing & Conference Services to make appropriate arrangements. CLEANLINESS: Students are responsible to maintain a standard of cleanliness that creates a hospitable environment and always adhere to Health and Safety regulations. They are accountable to always keep their room/suite in a clean and orderly condition. KITCHENS: Kitchen appliances are not permitted in residence rooms. Students are only allowed to keep a small compact refrigerator in their spaces. Kitchen appliances, provided in suites and common areas, must be used in a safe, responsible manner.
