Guest Policy. All guests must abide by the rules and policies outlined in the Residence Handbook and University protocols in place. In shared units, guests (especially overnight guests) must be discussed and approved by all roommates and suitemates in advanced. All guests must be signed into the building, and resident host will be held responsible for their behaviour and actions during their stay. NOISE: Residents are required to adhere to quiet-hours policy within their building. Excessive noise, which disturbs the comfort of other residents, is prohibited. STORAGE: The University does not provide storage facilities for student’s personal belongings or furnishings. It is the resident’s responsibility to arrange for one if they require so. ROOM DECORATIONS: Students are not permitted to paint, or make alterations in their room, suite and/or common areas. Room decorations must also comply with the University’s building code and standards. FURNITURE: Students are not permitted to bring large pieces of furniture, including beds/waterbeds, desks and dressers, into residence. Furniture cannot be removed from residence rooms, common areas or buildings. Furniture from other areas of the University cannot be relocated to a student’s room. ANIMALS/PETS: Pets are not permitted in any of the residence buildings. Students with registered service animals should contact Housing & Conference Services to make appropriate arrangements. CLEANLINESS: Students are responsible to maintain a standard of cleanliness that creates a hospitable environment and always adhere to Health and Safety regulations. They are accountable to always keep their room/suite in a clean and orderly condition. KITCHENS: Kitchen appliances are not permitted in residence rooms. Students are only allowed to keep a small compact refrigerator in their spaces. Kitchen appliances, provided in suites and common areas, must be used in a safe, responsible manner.
Guest Policy a. As host, I will ensure that any guest of mine abides by University policies, rules, regulations and standards of conduct, including the Community Standards, while present at Student Housing, and I will be held responsible for any violations of any guest of mine.
b. As host, I will meet any guest of mine, who is not a resident of Student Housing at the entrance of my Unit and accompany them at all times while on the premises.
c. I will not allow anyone else to reside in my Unit, except for my assigned roommate(s).
d. The University has the discretion to require that any guest leave University Housing and may prohibit any guest from being on University premises. I will cooperate with any request by the University that my guest leave, and I agree not to allow anyone who I know to have been prohibited or excluded from University Housing premises by the University to be present in my Unit or on Student Housing premises.
e. I will not allow any guest of mine to stay overnight in my Unit unless I obtain the prior consent of my roommate. I will not pressure my roommate to consent to any guest of mine staying overnight and ensure that they will not infringe upon my roommate(s) in any way.
f. I will not allow any guest of mine to stay overnight for more than three consecutive nights and no more than a total of seven overnight stays during my occupancy pursuant to this Agreement.
g. I will not reside in another unit that is not assigned to me and will not stay in another unit overnight more than three consecutive nights and no more than seven overnight stays during my occupancy pursuant to this agreement.

INTERNET SERVICE: University Information Technology provides Internet service (wired or wireless) via AirYorkPLUS to all undergraduate residence buildings. Students should report maintenance issues or service interruptions directly through their office. common areas. Room decorations must also comply with the University’s building code and standards. Residence rooms/suites are inspected at least once per term. Residents share the responsibility for cleanliness in the common rooms, kitchens, washrooms, and other shared space within the room/suite and building. Failure to comply with cleaning standards may result in sanctions and additional cleaning fees. SMOKING: York University Housing is a smoke-free environment. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside or within nine (9) meters of the buildings. This includes balconies, building entrances, windows, and ventilation system air intakes. Policy on cannabis smoking, possession and cultivation are available in the Residence Community Standards.
Guest Policy. Overnight guests are NOT allowed in the residences. If someone is visiting and needs accommodation, please let UTSC Conference Services staff know as soon as possible so appropriate arrangements can be made. While guests will not be staying with students, there may be other accommodations available to the guest at additional cost. Guests are not permitted to sleep in student residence common rooms or any other public place in residence. Lending residence keys to guests is prohibited. Students are allowed to have non-overnight guests in their residences. Once the guest enters UTSC residence property, they become the student’s responsibility. If concerns are raised about the guest or if the guest behaves against University residence standards, the guest may be asked to leave and may be banned from entering residence again. Students will be held accountable for misbehavior of guests. This includes the student receiving disciplinary sanctions and charges for damages and cleaning costs.
Guest Policy. Subject to special policies or interim measures that may be declared in the interest of public health or other reasons deemed necessary by the University, including the prohibition of all guests for a specified period, guests may be allowed to use residence facilities within the guidelines that are posted in the Guide to Residence Life.
Guest Policy. The student must fill out the guest registration log at the residence hall front desk for each guest entering the building. The visitor must present state issued photo identification to the front desk officer on duty. Only after the guest has been registered at the front desk and the guest has shown valid identification to the front desk officer can the student bring a guest to their residential unit. The resident student must accompany their visitor during the time of registration and must accompany their guest the entire time they are inside the residence hall. At the end of a guest’s visit the resident student must accompany their guest to the front desk to check-out. Non-resident guests are subject to all Residential Life policies and procedures. The host student accepts responsibility for the actions of their guests. The College restricts the number of resident and non-resident guests in residence hall rooms and apartments. The College reserves the rights to prohibit any guest from entering the residential areas for any reason and to adjust guest policies as deemed necessary.
Guest Policy a. A guest cannot be over 20 years old. Middle school students, regardless of age, are not permitted to attend a Saddleback High School dance.
b. Guest must have a signed permission slip on file.
c. Guest must show a photo I.D. (present school ID, current driver’s license or state issued ID card); the same one given when guest permission slip was turned in.
d. Saddleback High School students are responsible for the behavior of their guest. Saddleback students are responsible for informing guests of all Saddleback behavior and dress rules.
Guest Policy. The Student understands that only one overnight guest is permitted at any point in time. Students must have their overnight guests signed in with the University and designated security/staff. The Student agrees and understands that over a one month period, an overnight guest may stay in residence either a maximum of 3 consecutive nights or a maximum of 7 non-consecutive nights. Any guest who stays in the licensed premises for longer is considered to be cohabiting and is in direct violation of the guest policy. Students with a roommate may not have an overnight guest unless they have received the permission of their roommate. Guests under the age of eighteen (18) years old are not permitted in the Residence unless they are a relative: and then they must be registered with the Residence Hall Programs Office.
Guest Policy. All visitors to the Complex must be guests of students licensing units therein it is required to inform the other Unit occupants and the College Village office when planning to have a guest overnight. The host student assumes complete responsibility for any guest, visitor or invitee.
Guest Policy. Residents may bring up to three guests (per household, per visit) with them to either the indoor pool or outdoor pool only. Additional guest passes may be purchased at the indoor pool at $3/guest. Additional guest passes for the outdoor pool will need to be purchased at Recreation Center East prior to using the outdoor pool. Guests (Non-Woodmen Hills Residents) are not permitted to use the cardio or weight room at either the RCE or CCW location, unless a monthly or yearly pass is purchased. Residents may bring guests to our basketball court at $3/guest. Non-residents, not accompanied by a resident, my use the basketball court for a drop-in fee of $7/adults and $5/children.
