PLP Accrual. Employees will immediately begin accruing PLP at the appropriate rate in accordance with DCSS COMPANIES service time at a bi-weekly rate. The PLP year shall be defined as the period of employee’s yearly anniversary date. Use of PLP must be approved in advance by an DCSS supervisor or manager. PLP pay shall be at the employee’s regular hourly rate for each hour of approved PLP leave for which the employee has accrued PLP credit. Each employee who is eligible for paid PLP may, at the employee’s option, elect to take PLP in one-hour increments. PLP used as a result of illness will require a medical certificate after being absent for three (3) consecutive scheduled work days. Any employee having unused PLP on their anniversary date shall have the privilege of carrying such unused PLP over into the following year. Employees who discontinue service with the DCSS COMPANIES for any reason shall be paid at employee’s regular hourly rate for any unused PLP credit accrued. Employees may request to sell back to the DCSS COMPANIES PLP in as little as nine (9) hour increments as long as the employee maintains a minimum of forty (40) hours of accrued PLP. Amounts paid for PLP redemption are subject to all applicable taxes and deductions, i.e., 401(k). Employee must complete a request form prior to PLP being paid out. PLP will be paid out in the following pay period.

  • Leave Accrual After the first 30 days of active military service in any one calendar year, employees shall not accrue City-paid vacation, holiday, or sick leave benefits or other forms of paid leave; provided, however, that any public employee on military leave for intermittent training periods shall continue to accrue the same vacation, sick, and holiday leave up to a maximum period of 180 cumulative days per calendar year as if the employee had not been on military leave.

  • Interest Accrual Each Class of Notes will accrue interest on its Note Balance for each Interest Period until the Note Balance has been paid in full at a rate per annum equal to its Note Interest Rate for that Interest Period. Interest on the Class A-1 and Class A-2b Notes will be calculated for each Interest Period on the basis of the actual number of days in the Interest Period and a 360-day year. Interest on the Notes (other than the Class A-1 and Class A-2b Notes) for each Interest Period will be calculated on the basis of a 360-day year consisting of twelve 30-day months. Interest on each Note for each Interest Period will be due and payable on the related Payment Date.

  • Benefit Accrual Seniority, for the purpose of vacation, pension and sick leave accrual shall be based upon an employee’s continuous length of service with WSF. Seniority, for the purpose of all other benefit accrual, shall be by bargaining unit-wide seniority based upon an employee’s continuous length of service or adjusted length of service within the bargaining unit.

  • Leave Accruals Accumulated annual leave, personal leave, and sick leave balances will automatically be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. The employee will not accrue leave credits during the leave of absence.

  • Maximum Accrual Vacation credit may be accumulated to a maximum that can be earned in four (4) years. Further accumulation will not continue when the maximum is reached. When an employee’s vacation reaches the maximum level, and if the employee has been denied vacation during the twelve (12) months, the employee will be paid for the time denied but no more than eighty (80) hours in a pay period.   • Vacation Accrual Regular employees shall accrue hours of vacation with pay for each hour of compensation to a maximum of eighty (80) hours per biweekly work period according to the following schedule, commencing with the employee's hire date of his latest period of County employment.

  • Maximum Vacation Accrual Employees may accrue vacation up to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours. An employee who has reached the maximum accrual level may continue to accrue vacation until his or her next anniversary date, at which time any vacation accrued in addition to the two hundred forty (240) hour maximum accrual will be extinguished. With the written approval of the appropriate Vice President, an employee may accrue more than two hundred forty (240) hours of vacation when he or she is precluded from taking a previously scheduled vacation because of University needs. Any such written approval will specify a timeline for the employee to use any excess vacation accrual, after which any excess vacation accrual will be extinguished.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.

  • Annual Leave Accrual If an employee leaves State Classified employment and is later rehired, he/she shall accrue annual leave at the same rate as a new hire. However, once a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for annual leave accrual. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.
