Police Department Designated Mandatory Holidays a. All other unit employees in the Police Department (i.e. non-24/7 operations) required to work the following designated mandatory holidays (1) first day of January (New Year's Day); (2) third Monday of January (Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx. Holiday); (3) President’s Day; (4) last Monday of May (Memorial Day); (5) fourth of July (Independence Day); (6) first Monday in September (Labor Day); (7) Veteran’s Day; (8) fourth Thursday in November (Thanksgiving Day); (9) Friday after Thanksgiving; and (10) 25th day of December (Christmas Day) shall receive one-and-one-half time (1 ½) overtime pay.

  • UNIVERSITY HOLIDAYS The University observes the following days as administrative holidays:

  • Public Holiday Work (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.

  • Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.

  • 000 STATUTORY HOLIDAYS 18.100 The following days will constitute the recognized holidays within the terms of this agreement. Any other holiday proclaimed by either the Provincial or Federal Government will be automatically recognized within this Agreement.

  • Annual Holidays (i) On completion of 12 months continuous service an employee shall be entitled to annual paid leave of 4 working weeks.
