Posting of Vacancies At the point the Department proceeds to fill a vacant position by open competition, lateral transfer or promotion, such information will be publicized within the Department for a minimum of five (5) working days.
Posting of Vacant Positions Positions that are not filled through placement of employees from the layoff list or internal transfer list will be posted for a period of at least seven (7) calendar days, during which time, internal and external applicants may apply. The posting will include, at a minimum, a description of the work to be performed, the requirements of the position, the rate of pay and the shift.
VACANCIES AND JOB POSTINGS 17.01 When a job vacancy or vacancies occur within the bargaining unit and the Employer intends to fill the vacancy, the Employer will post an announcement of such vacancy or vacancies on all Union bulletin boards. Said postings shall remain posted for a period of five (5) working days. The announcement shall contain the job title of the vacancy, a brief job description and the rate of pay, and the date of the posting and bid deadline date.
Posting Vacancies 1. Vacancies that occur in certified positions shall be posted online for not less than five (5) working days prior to their being filled or advertised outside the district. The five- (5) day posting requirement may be suspended by the Administration on June 1 each year. The five-day posting requirement shall resume on the first day of October.
VACANCIES AND NEW POSITIONS 17.01 The Gallery shall post notice of permanent and temporary job vacancies subject to Article 4 – Temporary Full-Time Employees for a period of seven (7) calendar days before any such job is filled. Probationary employees shall not be entitled to apply for posted vacancies. It is agreed that the Gallery will not interview external applicants until applications from existing employees have been reviewed and bargaining unit employees who are qualified in the opinion of the Gallery have been interviewed. Further, the Gallery will notify existing applicants in writing once the successful application is selected.
DISQUALIFICATION FOR PAST PERFORMANCE AND FINDINGS OF NON RESPONSIBILITY Bidder may be disqualified from receiving awards if Bidder, or anyone in Bidder’s employment, has previously failed to perform satisfactorily in connection with public Bidding or contracts or is deemed non- responsible.
Posting and Filling of Vacancies 8.1(1) When a permanent vacancy occurs within a classification covered by this agreement, which the Employer intends to fill, after the Employer applies the internal job transfer bidding procedure and the ultimate vacancy is thereby identified, such vacancy shall be advertised for ten (10) calendar days provided that nothing herein shall prevent the Employer from advertising such vacancy throughout its system or outside during the ten (10) day period. Probationary employees may, at the sole discretion of the Employer, be considered for another position outside their classification after the signing date of this agreement. The Corporation reserves the sole and absolute right to carry out any applicable interviewing or testing that is necessary in its opinion. All test processes will be approved by qualified Human Resources staff. An employee will only be allowed to take one test failure for each different job classification bid every four (4) months. Current employees applying for positions which involve increased driving responsibilities must meet corporate driving standards and provide with application a current driving abstract. The opinion of the Employer shall not be exercised in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner.
Notification of Vacancies A laid off employee shall be notified by certified mail of an appropriate vacancy, sent to the employee’s address on file in the office of the Executive Director for Human Resources Management. An employee’s failure to respond affirmatively in writing within five calendar days after receipt of the Employer’s letter shall cause loss of recall rights.
VACANCIES, TERM POSITIONS AND NEW POSITIONS 3001 Subject to section 3002 herein, the Employer agrees to post notices of vacant, term or new positions covered under this Agreement for at least seven (7) days to enable nurses presently in the employ of the Employer to apply for same. Such posting shall not preclude the Employer from advertising outside the site premises. All postings shall state minimum qualifications required, the equivalent to full-time (E.F.T.) and date of closing of the competition.
