Principal’s Allowance. 4.2.3.1. Nineteen (19%) per cent of maximum at four (4) years teacher education on the salary grid in clause 3.2.4 plus twenty-two per cent (22%) of maximum at four (4) years teacher education on the salary grid divided by one thousand (1000) per enrolled student in excess of one hundred (100) students, to a maximum allowance of forty-one per cent (41%) of maximum at four (4) years teacher education on the salary grid.
Principal’s Allowance. A4.01 A Principal is paid an allowance for administrative and supervisory responsibilities as follows: Number of full time equivalent students enrolled on September 30 of the previous school year Percentage of Maximum Step of Category 4 for the current school year 1-150 15% 151-250 18% 251-400 20% 401 and over 23% Assistant Principal’s Allowance A4.02 An Assistant Principal is paid an Allowance for administrative and supervisory responsibilities at an annual rate equal to one-half of the Principal's Allowance in A4.01. Where an Assistant Principal acts as Principal for 5 consecutive working days, the Assistant Principal shall receive the Principal’s allowance for the remainder of the time that he or she acts as Principal. Where the Superintendent, in consultation with the Principal, determines that it is necessary for the Assistant Principal to commence work prior to beginning of the school year or following the conclusion of the school year to perform administrative duties, the Assistant Principal shall be compensated at his/her Daily Rate of Pay for the additional days. These additional days shall not exceed four (4).
Principal’s Allowance. In addition to his/her salary in clause 3, each principal shall receive, monthly, an allowance equal to 1/12 of the following schedule using the student count as of September 30 each school year.
Principal’s Allowance. 4.2.1.1. Each Principal shall receive an allowance per annum, calculated according to the following table. Student count for purposes of calculated administrative allowances shall be that count as of September 30 in each school year.

Principal’s Allowance. 7.1.1 The formula for computing principals' allowances for the school year shall be on the basis of the Alberta school foundation fund total pupil count including eligible and ineligible pupils as of September 30 in that school year, with ECS/playschool pupils counting as ½ pupils.
Principal’s Allowance. The teacher count for establishing the Principal’s Allowance shall be exclusive of the Principal except in the case where he is the only teacher on staff. - $12,887.68 for the first (1st) FTE teacher plus - $ 891.48 for the next eight (8) FTE teachers plus - $ 588.54 for the next ten (10) FTE teachers plus - $ 320.28 per FTE teacher thereafter The teacher count for establishing the Principal’s Allowance shall be determined twice per year based on teacher FTE on September 30th and February 1st.
Principal’s Allowance. Principal’s Allowance. (effective until August 31, 2019). The principal’s allowance is to be adjusted on the same dates and by the same percentage increases as are applied to the salary grid. Effective August 31, 2018, combine principals allowance categories 1–3 with a minimum allowance of $16,907. Principals shall receive one (1) day in lieu each year. This day is not subject to carry forward or pay out.
