Procedures for Filling Vacancies. 4.1 When an existing bargaining unit position becomes vacant or a new position is created, the District shall post notice of the job opening for at least five (5) days at each District site during which time employees may apply for the position. This Article does not preclude the District from advertising concurrently outside the District for these five (5) days and for an additional five (5) days.
