Professional Contracts. All members are responsible for maintaining appropriate credentials to fulfill contractual responsibilities prior to the start of the contractual year. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary actions and/or separation of employment from Miamisburg City Schools. Wages shall reflect appropriate credentials. After September 1, 2007, all members should keep current all certificates/licenses. Failure to do so will void rights under Article XII B.

Professional Contracts. Section A. Full-Time Contracts 1. Nine-month contracts — The employment contract for each academic year shall include 172 working days of fall and spring semester employment within the instructor's program date requirements. Non-contract days shall be determined by the academic calendar upon approval by the College Board of Trustees. Programs with instructors who provide instruction for additional working days will be paid at their per diem rate for each additional day of service if their additional days do not number enough to reach the next contract level. 2. Ten-month, Eleven-month and Twelve-month contracts — The employment contracts for each academic year shall include 191 working days for ten-month, 210 working days for eleven- month, and 229 working days for twelve-month, depending upon the instructional requirements needed to complete the instructional programs. Non-contract days shall be determined by the academic calendar upon approval by the College Board of Trustees.

Professional Contracts. You acknowledge and agree that: (1) you may not contract with any Professional by way of the Platform and no interaction between you and any Professional by way of the Platform will constitute a contract between you and any Professional; (2) any and all Professional Contracts are made separately and independently of the Platform and HomeStars, all Professional Contracts are between you and the applicable Professional, and HomeStars will not be a party to any Professional Contracts or have any responsibility or liability whatsoever in connection with any Professional Contracts; (3) as between the Parties, you are solely responsible and liable for any and all of Your Jobs and your and the applicable Professional’s performance of your and their obligations pursuant to any and all Professional Contracts; (4) as between the Parties, you are solely responsible and liable for: (a) any and all Jobs, Shortlisting, and Professional Contracts; (b) identifying, understanding, and complying with any and all Applicable Laws that apply to Professional Contracts; and (c) any and all interactions between you and any Professional, including any and all related quotes, estimates, receipt of goods or services or deliverables, invoicing, payments, and collections; (5) as between HomeStars and Professionals, the applicable Professional is solely responsible and liable for: (a) Your Jobs and any and all Shortlisting and Professional Contracts in respect of Your Jobs; (b) identifying, understanding, and complying with any and all Applicable Laws that apply to any Professional Contracts between you and that Professional; and (c) any and all Professional Contracts and interactions between you and that Professional, including with respect to any and all related quotes, estimates, goods or services, deliverables, invoicing, payments, and collections; and (6) you will be solely responsible and liable for obtaining such independent legal advice and guidance as you may determine is sufficient, including with respect to Your Jobs and Professional Contracts.

Professional Contracts. All professional contracts necessary for operation of the City/County Health Department will be acquired and managed by the Park County Commission, and its staff. The Local Health Officer will be the Director/Department Head of the Park County Environmental Health Department. However, the Local Health Officer will work under the authority of the Park County Commission.

Professional Contracts. Two (2) contracts shall be issued to each professional employee for signatures. One (1) copy shall be returned to the District and signed by the Secretary of the Board. One (1) additional copy shall then be made and returned to the employee. Annually all returning professional staff members will be issued a contract for professional services. This professional contract is for 180 days. New staff members will be provided one (1) additional mandatory day paid at per diem. Extended Day Compensation: When professional services are required beyond the regular school year the District will determine the need based on program requirements, administrative need and budgetary restraints. Supplemental contracts for these services will be established by the end of the school year if funding is known at such time. These contracted amounts will be computed at 1/180 of the person's professional contract. The District will dedicate a sum of money equal to one day per diem per FTE to compensate employees for the completion of District approved special projects such as curriculum committees. These projects are not intended to be classroom-related activities, but school wide or school District emphasis. Projects must be approved in advance by the employee's principal. Compensation for approved projects will be based on the estimated time for project completion as determined by the employee and administrator. Each employee shall be provided the opportunity to earn up to his or her FTE per diem by April 15th. After April 15th, unused money will be pooled and made available to those staff members desiring additional project work not to exceed a second FTE per diem day. Compensation will be disbursed when one day has been accrued, if a full day is not accrued, compensation will be paid on June 30th. This dedicated amount may be discontinued if funds are not available due to legislative reductions or levy loss.

Professional Contracts. (ref. Policy 1013.1) The provisions of the Missouri Teacher Tenure Act, Section 168.102 et. seq RSMo shall exclusively govern with respect to probationary and indefinite contracts between the District and Bargaining Unit employees.
