PROFESSIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES REIMBURSEMENT PLAN (PLARP. 1. The Board shall dedicate a total of one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) in PLARP funds over the life of the collective bargaining agreement for adjunct faculty reimbursement for the actual (and receipted) cost of registration (including travel) for professional meetings, conferences and professional development workshops, and subscriptions to professional journals, webinars and other professional memberships pursuant to the limits described in this section 3.I. The allocation of PLARP funds on August 1 of each academic year of the four- year collective bargaining agreement is thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), with half to be held in reserve for PLARP activities which may occur after January 1 of each academic year. The start date of the PLARP activity will determine in what year the expenditure is recorded. During the winter intersession, Spring semester money or money remaining from the Fall semester shall be used for reimbursement. During the summer session, money remaining from the previous academic year shall be used for reimbursement. A maximum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) in PLARP funds may be carried forward from one academic year to the immediate next academic year. The Board shall provide the Union President a monthly summary of funds encumbered or reimbursed for approved PLARP requests. This benefit is available only to bargaining unit members.

  • Reimbursement of Travel Expenses If the Servicer provides access to the Review Materials at one of its properties, the Issuer will reimburse the Asset Representations Reviewer for its reasonable travel expenses incurred in connection with the Review on receipt of a detailed invoice.

  • Professional Development Reimbursement Management will provide reimbursement for approved professional development expenses for Lieutenants and Sergeants. Funds may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing Lieutenants and Sergeants for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities. Management must approve of the specific professional development request in advance. Denial will require written notification to the requesting Lieutenant or Sergeant.

  • Educational Reimbursement SECTION 1. The purpose of this Article is to xxxxxx a learning environment and provide educational opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the employees and the County and will encourage eligible employees to participate in education programs which will further their skills and knowledge for use in their current position or for use in a possible future position of greater responsibility. The Educational Reimbursement Program shall be a plan as provided for in Section 127 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) and shall be construed consistently with the requirements of Section 127. Amounts paid for tuition reimbursement meeting the requirements of Section 127 of the IRS Tax Code are not included in an Employee’s income or subject to income tax withholding up to a maximum of $5,250 annually. If subsequent tax law changes fail to continue the tax-free treatment, or in any way modify its treatment, appropriate adjustments in tax withholding will be made from the effective date of the change. This Article does not apply to training seminars, conferences, workshops, etc.

  • Travel Expense Reimbursement Pricing for services provided under this Contract are exclusive of any travel expenses that may be incurred in the performance of those services. Travel expense reimbursement may include personal vehicle mileage or commercial coach transportation, hotel accommodations, parking and meals; provided, however, the amount of reimbursement by Customers shall not exceed the amounts authorized for state employees as adopted by each Customer; and provided, further, that all reimbursement rates shall not exceed the maximum rates established for state employees under the current State Travel Management Program (xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/procurement/prog/stmp/). Travel time may not be included as part of the amounts payable by Customer for any services rendered under this Contract. The DIR administrative fee specified in Section 5 below is not applicable to travel expense reimbursement. Anticipated travel expenses must be pre-approved in writing by Customer.

  • Association Activities The parties agree employees shall have the right to form, join, and participate in the lawful activities of the Association for the purpose of representation in matters of employment relations. No employee shall be interfered with, restrained, coerced, or discriminated against because of the exercise of such rights.

  • Education Reimbursement The County will provide education reimbursement for education costs incurred by regular employees who apply for such reimbursement in accordance with the policies and procedures governing the education reimbursement program. The maximum reimbursement shall be $1,500 per year.

  • Travel Reimbursement 2.1 The County will only cover costs associated with travel on vendors outside a 50 mile radius from Xxxxxxxxxx County, Texas.

  • Travel Expenses CONTRACTOR shall not be allowed or paid travel expenses unless set forth in this Agreement.

  • Business Expenses The Company shall reimburse the Executive for any and all necessary, customary and usual expenses, properly receipted in accordance with Company policies, incurred by Executive on behalf of the Company.
