Program Accomplishments. A key achievement of the Curamericas/CSRA Child Survival XIII Project was the implementation of five child survival interventions in four geographic regions of the Bolivian Altiplano reaching approximately 16,100 women, infants and children in 227 rural communities. Joint implementation of activities is on going with three municipal governments and their respective health centers and outlying health posts. Curamericas/CSRA has proven that an NGO can have a huge impact on how municipal governments manage health systems. The CS Project has demonstrated success in the following areas: development of vision and leadership competencies through accompaniment in the provision of services; capacity building through participation on MHBs; and demonstration of personal and professional values that inspire MOH and municipal partners to deliver quality

Program Accomplishments. Key achievements of CARE’s CS Project include the implementation of child survival activities in 94 communities and urban neighborhoods, support of community health activities by 366 CHWs, joint implementation of activities is on-going with 15 MOH health posts with staff trained in IMCI and quality of care, participation of 64 schools. Over 42,000 women and children are benefiting from primary health care interventions. Important results in the area of sustainability include improved linkages between communities and the MOH, institutionalization of quality of care assessments at MOH health posts, formal agreements between the MOH and the MED to continue providing health education in schools, and the formation of a savings and loan cooperative to continue providing credit to families for commercial and agricultural endeavors. Fourteen of the 15 health posts in the municipality of Matagalpa implement clinical IMCI, community outreach, referral and counter-referral systems, and information systems. Accreditation by UNICEF as Baby and Mother Friendly Health Units was awarded to all the health posts and the Municipal Policlinic. Each health post undertakes quarterly quality assessments and make action plans to address problem areas. Ninety-seven communities have functioning Base Houses, 94 manage referral and counter referral systems, 84 meet monthly with the health post to plan and evaluate activities, and 51 implement the AIN growth monitoring system. The new Survival Savings and Loan Cooperative is beginning with a fund of $US 11,000, with 150 members, 21 loans have been given and 51 communities are represented. The CS Project has developed an excellent relationship with MOH municipal and health post services, and progress has been made in strengthening quality of care at health facilities. Capacity building for CARE and the MOH has been significant, and both institutions are making valuable contributions to child survival in Nicaragua.

  • Program Activities Grantee must use the Grant Funds as set forth in Exhibit A (the “Program”).

  • Teams One team for the purposes of the Event shall consist of one Vehicle. Each Vehicle can contain a maximum of three Team Members, provided such Team Members have entered into a Team Entry Agreement with the Company or have otherwise agreed in writing to participate in the Event upon and subject to the Terms of Entry and the Event Rules. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the sole responsibility of each Team to inform themselves of the maximum numbers of persons legally permitted to travel in the Vehicle under Relevant Law. Vehicles: Rickshaws The Company shall provide each Team with the contact details of the Approved Hirer who will be able to provide each Team with a Vehicle for use in the Event, subject to the Team entering into an agreement (the “Borrowing Agreementâ€) with the Hirer outlining the terms of use of the Vehicle. Should the Vehicle not be delivered to the Designated Finish Point up to 3 days after the date of the official Finish Line Party, then the team will be liable for either the cost to retrieve the Vehicle and/or the "Hire Costs" beyond this date. Each Vehicle will be of a similar specification to that outlined in Schedule 4 to the Team Entry Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company shall make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Approved Hirer or of the Vehicle for participation in the Event and any rights or warranties which a Team may have or be granted in relation to the Vehicle shall be limited to those contained in the Rental Agreement or implied by any Relevant Law.

  • Program Goals CalHFA MAC envisions that these monies would be used to complement other federal or lender programs designed specifically to stabilize communities by providing assistance to homeowners who have suffered a financial hardship and as a result are no longer financially able to afford their first-lien mortgage loan payments or their Property Expenses when associated with a Federal Housing Administration (“FHA”) Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (“HECM”) loan, only.

  • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor.   • Teamwork At Citizens’ discretion, Vendor Staff may be required to work in cooperation with another vendor’s staff or report to a supervisor from another vendor. Vendor shall cooperate and cause its staff to cooperate with any other Citizens’ vendor or any other party identified by Citizens.

  • Constructability Program 5.2.1 Implement and conduct a constructability program to identify and document Project cost and schedule savings opportunities. The constructability program shall follow accepted industry practices and be reviewed by Owner at design milestones. Whenever the term “value engineering” is used in conjunction with this Agreement or the Project, it has its commonly accepted meaning within the construction industry and does not imply the practice of professional engineering without a license. If any value engineering activities constitute the professional practice of engineering, then such activities shall be performed by an engineer licensed in Texas.
