PROJECT PURPOSE STATEMENT. The City of Dayton will host a community design charrette on August 4, 2018, coordinated by University of Oregon Green Cities class taught by Xxx Xxxxxxxx. The city needs to repair the aging Dayton Footbridge which provides a connection for visitors and residents to access the Vintages RV Park, a park, Dayton Landing, downtown and neighborhoods. The Green Cities program will evaluate funding opportunities and provide visioning to better communicate the project needs for future funding applications. Class sessions will involve the presentation of material by the instructor; class discussion; guest speakers. Students should be prepared to participate actively in classroom discussions. The class has been invited by the City of Dayton to participate in a design charrette with citizens, city officials and professionals. The class will also prepare reports and video presentations that provide guidance and recommendations on how Dayton can promote the project and secure competitive grant opportunities to make needed repairs to the bridge. This project will assist the city in achieving the following goal and objectives: Repairing the Dayton Footbridge is a priority to the City Council to ensure that it remains a safe multimodal connection for residents and visitors alike.

PROJECT PURPOSE STATEMENT. Portland’s Inner Eastside consists of high opportunity neighborhoods close to the Central City. This study will provide clarity on available infrastructure capacity and potential constraints to create the foundation for future planning and up-zoning to encourage housing production, expand housing options, choices, and affordability levels. The Inner Eastside project area spans roughly from NE Fremont Street in the north, XX Xxxxxx Boulevard in the south, 7th Ave north of I-84 and 12th Ave south of I-84 to west to 60th Ave to the east – an area of about 5,800 acres (6% of the city’s land area) of which 72% is zoned single-dwelling residential, 13% multi-dwelling residential and 16% commercial/mixed use.

  • Purpose Statement Abuse of drugs and alcohol is a nationwide problem. It affects persons of every age, race, sex and ethnic group. It poses risks to the health and safety of employees of the City of Minneapolis and to the public. To reduce those risks, the City has adopted this LOA concerning drugs and alcohol in the workplace. This LOA establishes standards concerning drugs and alcohol which all employees must meet and it establishes a testing procedure to ensure that those standards are met. This drug and alcohol testing LOA is intended to conform to the provisions of the Minnesota Drug and Alcohol Testing in the Workplace Act (Minnesota Statutes §181.950 through 181.957), as well as the requirements of the federal Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-690, Title V, Subtitle D) and related federal regulations. Nothing in this LOA shall be construed as a limitation upon the Employer's obligation to comply with federal law and regulations regarding drug and alcohol testing. The Human Resources Director is directed to develop and maintain procedures for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of this LOA and to establish training on this LOA and applicable law.

  • Project Completion Report At the completion of construction and once a Project is placed in service, the Subrecipient must submit a Project Completion Report that includes the total number of units built and leased, affordable units built and leased, DR-MHP units built and leased, an accomplishment narrative, and the tenants names, demographics and income for each DR-MHP unit.
